Minnesota Zoo

This zoo is awesome! You can walk on the trail above everything or on the ground trail. It is so peaceful along the top trail. The donuts were great! The taco food truck was neat. This zoo has two kinds of otters.

The Minneapolis Zoo is one of our favorite family destinations in the Twin Cities. The grounds are clean, well maintained, and easy to navigate, with a great variety of animals and exhibits to explore. We especially enjoyed the walking trails, interactive displays, and opportunities to see animals up close. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of spots to rest, grab a snack, or let kids burn off some energy. Whether you’re visiting with young children, grandparents, or just looking for a fun day outdoors, the zoo offers something for everyone. We always discover something new and look forward to coming back. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors to the area.

This is s very nice zoo. Plenty of attractions for kiss to enjoy side from the animals. I would set aside at least 4 hours to see the zoo and enjoy all the displays.

I visited the Minnesota Zoo during the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular, and it was absolutely amazing! The carved pumpkins were incredibly detailed and creative, with so many unique designs to see along the trail. The atmosphere was magical, especially at night with all the lights and displays. It’s very family-friendly, and both kids and adults will enjoy it. Definitely worth visiting during the fall season!

We had a fun day out, though I think it's one of those places that you only need to go to once in a while as there isn't that much to see. There are some interesting animals but it feels like there could have been more as there was quite a bit of empty spaces. The walking spaces are quite tight, especially with all the strollers and wagons people are pushing. The food in the food court is quite expensive as well $5 for a fountain soda and $15 for a salad with no meat. The parking is $10 per car and it is right next to the entrances which is a plus.

I had a really lovely experience at the zoo! I visited in winter—February to be exact—so it was a bit chilly for the outdoor animals, but the indoor exhibits were super comfortable and educational. I enjoyed it a lot! The animals are beautiful, well taken care of, and I definitely recommend visiting

We were in Minnesota for my daughter's wedding. The zoo seemed like a great way to spend a day. Of course, October is the "off season". Undeterred we went. There was some construction going on. The exhibits were really cool. I'm certain summer visits would be more crowded, but better overall.

I have been here multiple times, it is my favorite zoo in the twin cities. They have a wandering light trail at night and a sky trail that takes you around the zoo. Minnesota Zoo has so much to offer for animals wise and even some touch experiences. Stuff there will be expensive but for the experience it is worth it. There are also experiences you can do where people tell you about animals or you watch a show. But all that has specific times.
