Yardies Jerk - Saint Albans

I just bought the Jerk Chicken Meal today, staff was really good and nice service. It's just that the food didn't really convince me, was not bad but it's not like the food was delicious either so it's like okay, anyways they give you a really good portion, for those 2 plates we payed 36 dollars. We tried the beef patties and they were 10/10, really tasteful and crunchy outside.

I heard great things about this place. I ordered thru grubhub. Unfortunately i was missing the carrot cake, and wasn’t able to try it. Now i dont know if thats the mistake of the person delivering or the staff at Yardies. However I did receive my other food and it was so dayamm delicious. It blew my mind, of how the meet fell off the bone and taste was unbelievable. The rice and peas complimented the taste, staff gave me many gravy. The mac n cheese can be better but it was still good. The staff was nice enough to add two plantains in my order because I was unable to order it thru grubhub, but I requested it, and they were nice enough to provide me some. Thank you ! The beef patties was very juicy and filling appetizer tbh. Im definitely going back, this time I am getting the carrot cake for sure.

Me and my family wanted Sunday dinner so we chose this restaurant. It was just the right touch to our Sunday!! The food was fresh the portion was just right for the price. If i were you id order her every chance i desired Caribbean food. A++

The soup “chicken pumpkin soup”here it ran my belly !!! I’m so pissed off at this place !!!! AND I WAS AT WORK Fast food never gave me a running belly I don’t eat pepper the soup full of pepper like the pepper boil till it buss in it. Me a sip and a sip at work and then boom me belly start mek noice. Thought I was bussing gas and low behold it was diarrhea! A the pepper cause it or dirty hands handle the soup. I didn’t vomit didn’t have fever thank God because that would have been classified as food poisoning according to my doctor. You need to learn to make a nice clean soup man. Never again !!!!! Watch and learn yall need some serious help because this economy is too hard to waste money on food that’s trash and running people belly because of pepper !!! Watch how bulbie make fi him soup dem !!! Unu should be ashamed. Soup should be consumable for all elderly sick old and young not for rum drinkers !!! I called they tried to tell me they don’t put pepper in the soup but what ever yall using to season the soup has pepper. Even if you do boil with a scotch bonnet never let it bust it will pepper the soup very spicy and I think that’s what happened!!! And the lack of pumpkin couldn’t even tame the pepper it was horrible !!! No yam just Irish one little Irish and small piece of choco . I didn’t want dumplings but Jesus not even a corn unu mean bad !!!

It was late night and I was hungry for something light. I was glad they still had soup. Usually on a weekend the soul finishes fast. I ordered a chicken soup with festival. I usually like my soup broth thicker, but it was still delicious. The festival was soft and hot. It’s been a long time that I enjoyed a good festival and this hit!!

I am never returning to this location during the day. i typically visit this location after 11pm & the guys working are prompt and friendly, however this is my second time visiting during the afternoon hours and the ladies working are so RUDE. Not only do they have horrible attitudes, but they move slow as can be. And I was not the only customer in there who had to ask for their food twice . I Only come here for the portion sizes and the patties...but now I know when to avoid this place. those women need to learn something from the staff from the night crew, they actually have good customer service and can run a business.

Foods are good, sitting space is little limited. Located in a convenient place. Not a bad place to eat! 👍🏻
