Great place to look for unique or collectible stuff, records, cds, cassette tapes, hot Wheels, funko, band shirts, shoes, basically all the cool stuff. You can also bring in your stuff to see if they'll buy it from you for cash or credit.

I purchased a Jason Voorhees Sideshow statue from their eBay account(zillacave is the name) on March 12th. When it arrived I simply made sure it was complete, it wasn’t until the other day I noticed it had been previously damaged and repaired. Hidden by some brown fabric. The listing didn’t include anything about that. I’m well past the 30 day mark on the money back guarantee but I messaged them hoping they would do the right thing. Nope, every single message was ignored. I got to the point where I contacted two of the stores trying to get in touch with the owner or the people who run the account. Couldn’t get any info. I messaged their instagram and facebook accounts with the issue and was blocked. This whole situation was handled poorly on their end, super unprofessional.
It was cool looking store. Lots of different things for passing time. Not the best for older consoles. I left a Nintendo 64 console with 3 controllers and 4 games to see how much I could get for it. It was left there Friday 7:30 pm and I did not get an offer til Sunday 5:15pm after 2 calls making sure what was going on. Even then they were only able to offer 33 cash. I went to a complete different store called “ 1-up Retro Video Games” at 2325 J St Sacramento, CA 95816 United States. Where they were able to buy the console with the controllers and 2 games for 53.75. On top of that sold extra 2 games totaling my cash out value to 73.75$ Another update: Store responded to my post and then deleted their comment after I had shown my proof of being lowballed, please let me know if my console was either compromised or it legitimately wasn’t worth all that much to your store specifically? I did call multiple stores to get offers.
I thought it was okay. The CDs were a bit disorganized and had a bit of a hard time understanding how their alphabet system worked. The clothes were also not organized according to size and if it was male/female/kids. Lots of cool stuff inside that certain people might enjoy but it didn’t fit my vibe. Also found that one small arcade section cool.
Usually good stuff but last time the CD was on lock down until I paid for it , when I popped it in the truck CD player it wasn't the right one in the case. I had to wait a week till I was back in Sacramento to get a refund , their policy is you have to go back to the store who screwed up to fix it. I most likely won't go back to the Arden way place again
I went into this establishment today to try to sell my Michael Kors purse among some other shoes I had & two pajama sets. The associate told me that she would get back to me later that they may buy my items or they would just give them back altogether. Stating that it’s up to the owner to approve the item when I went back. I don’t understand if you don’t want the items you should just say that instead of taking the items and then messaging them later to just get them. Honestly, it feels like a waste of time and not caring much about the community. They just care about over pricing items and only selling stuff that’s expensive instead of reasonable. The cave is a secondhand store a thrift store essentially nothing is brand new and if it is, they’re over pricing it. So that does not make any sense. If you don’t like the items you see that people are bringing in you should just tell them straight up. You’re not gonna buy it & to have a good day instead of having them fill out paperwork and having to come back later waste time and gas and with these gas prices honestly ridiculous. I would shop anywhere else I’d bring your items anywhere else for exchange. Do not shop here. Do not give this store any type of business zero stars.
This is an amazing, if somewhat disorganized place. The amount of cool, retro toys and music is awesome. Could probably spend a whole day here and not see everything. The only knock is that I was ignored by every employee in the place, until I went to the front counter. Probably would have spent a lot more tho, so they might have done me a favor. Worth the time if you are in Sacramento, even if you have to make a special trip. Will definitely be back.
Massive selection. Great music playing and friendly staff here. We got out with a few mangas and some physical movies in great condition. This store should be experienced by all.
