Westchester Children's Museum

We love being members of Westchester Children's Museum. Great space and class/activity options included in the annual membership. Additionally, we hosted our daughter's 3rd birthday party there and had the BEST experience. The staff was so kind and helpful in helping to set up, run the party, and clean up too. We had 50 attendees total between kids and adults and the space worked great. I would highly recommend hosting a bday party there!!

My family and I had a great experience! It was our first time attending a Knicks-themed celebration here, and it did not disappoint. From the freebies and raffles to the Knicks parade, there was so much to enjoy. The kids especially loved the arts and crafts activities, including slime-making, coloring, and all the opportunities to let their imaginations run wild. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the entire event was well organized. It was the perfect family outing, with something fun for everyone. After seeing all the exciting activities they’ve planned for the summer, we’re already looking forward to coming back soon. Definitely recommend!

This museum is INCLUSIVE and welcomes everyone! Recently my colleagues brought extremely medically complex, neurodiverse, children and young adults to the museum, and they had a great experience. I was so thrilled to hear they had no issues with accessibility and had tons of access to engaging activities and sites to see. I look forward to bringing back more medically complex residents to this welcoming and educational environment. Thank you to the amazing staff!!!

The museum seems a little tired. But it was still fun for my grandkids, 6 years old and 18 months. Most of the staff was quite pleasant and helpful. The location is lovely.

We hosted our son’s fourth birthday party at the Westchester Children’s Museum this past May, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. The party room was perfect for our space-themed celebration, which our son is absolutely obsessed with. We were able to decorate the room to our liking, and it really made the day special for him. The museum itself is massive, so even with a full guest list, we never felt crowded. It was great that our guests could arrive early and explore the museum, and there was no pressure for them to leave right after the party room time ended—they could stay and enjoy the museum at their leisure. Overall, I highly recommend the WestChester Children’s Museum for any child’s birthday party. The space, the staff, and the flexibility they offer made it a perfect venue for our celebration.

We hosted a birthday party at the Westchester Children's Museum and had a fantastic experience. The location is great, the activities kept the kids fully engaged, and the team was incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout the planning process. On the day of the party, their staff made everything seamless, they were a huge help with both setup and cleanup, which made a big difference. Highly recommend for a fun birthday celebration!

This was the perfect place to take our littles when visiting family in town. It had so many fun and interactive things to do. They even had a sing along time for the kids which my kids loved. The view out to the water was stunning, and it was so relaxing with the openness while dealing with chaos from the littles. I would definitely advise anyone with kids to visit this place. It's also not to big so they won't get lost.
