Our guide Matthew was excellent. He was informative engaging and warm. He was also very nice to my two boys. The 2.5 hour tour felt short because we were entertained with lots of interesting facts.

Visitor notes
My family had a fantastic time on a Sunday afternoon Freedom Trail tour. Our guide, Sam Jones, was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining, bringing the history to life in a fun and engaging way. We enjoyed it so much that I even asked about a longer tour—I would have loved to learn even more. Highly recommend
Charlie R was an excellent guide! Very informative, had interesting stories, and engaging. We were a small group of 7 and could easily navigate around the points of interest compared to large groups around us booked thru other companies. Great experience.
We took the Freedom Trail Tour and our guide was Rob Crean. It was a very historically accurate Tour of all 16 stops on the trail. Rob was very knowledgeable and could answer almost any question our group had. We definitely learned alot about Boston history today! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants an in depth historical experience while strolling through the freedom trail. Rob is an excellent guide as well!!
Rob Crean with Boston History Company was a great tour guide for the Freedom Trail! This was engaging and informative for all ages in our family- highly recommend!
An excellent tour that was informative and kept you interested. If you’re in Boston and enjoy history, check out the Freedom Trail Walking Tour. Our guide, Rob Crean did a great job!
We booked a last minute tour and it started raining, but it was such a great tour. Kenny was awesome. He gave the history but also little side notes and stories that made the history even more enjoyable. He was happy to answer questions and even deftly handled a situation with an aggressive local with class and grace. It was a great tour. Thanks Kenny.
Our hotel had a tour guide from Boston History Company come dressed in colonial attire and present compelling storytelling around the history of Boston leading up to the Declaration of Independence. The experience was fantastic. The storyteller was engaging and humourous, and the presentation was educational. It was like attending a non-musical version of Hamilton. It was a highlight of our trip and made for a wonderful afternoon. I highly recommend a tour from Boston History Company.
