I just adopted my baby, Cecilia Marie, last month and brought her in for a new patient appt and to establish care. She is an older baby and has some minor issues, that will need daily tending for life, and Dr. Myers was spot-on with how I'd like her care plan to be: centered on comfort and longevity ❤️ The entire staff was warm and welcoming, and everyone loved my Cecilia. I feel very comfortable with them, for her primary care.

I want to thank Dr Myers and all of the staff who helped! My girl Luna required surgery. Everyone took the time to make sure that she was well taken care of and loved. Dr. Myers is one of the best who always explains everything whenever I go there so I have an understanding of exactly what’s going to happen or is what is needed. I had adopted Luna Around the time of Covid. At that time, the parents couldn’t go in with your pets and it was very hard to have somebody come out and take your pet in for a doctor visit not knowing how they will be. But would put me at ease is every time that Luna arrived for her doctors appointment she’s very excited to go in and see everyone. At that point, I knew she was being very well taken care of even with me not around in the room. Thank you so much to Dr. Myers and all the other doctors that have also assisted in Luna’s care. Dr. Blake is absolutely amazing. He is kind, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the moment you meet him, he makes you feel at ease and takes the time to thoroughly explain everything and answer any questions. His genuine care for both his patients and their owners is evident in every interaction. Dr. Blake is truly one of a kind, and I highly recommend him

I’m surprised I haven’t left a review sooner. I’ve been using Sachem Animal Hospital for almost 3 years and they’ve been nothing but great! As a pet professional myself, I am very picky about who I use as a vet. Not only do I trust them with my personal dogs but I recommend them for my client dogs as well. The staff have always been friendly and not overly pushy. They trust that I know my dogs and allow me to help during visits and they never make me feel bad if I decline a recommendation or question the doctor. I’ve used them for puppy shots, senior dog, working dog injuries and even having to say goodbye to another and I’ve been nothing but happy with them and their care. I only see Dr. Myers and Dr. Adam’s so I can’t speak for the other vets but they get a 10/10 from me

We decided to make an appointment at Sachem Animal Hospital off of a referral and I am certainly glad that we did. We immediately knew we were in good hands when we met Dr. Blakely. A true professional who clearly puts the needs of his patients above all else. We found what we thought was a growth on our senior dog’s stomach area and knew we had to get it looked at. Dr. Blakely took some tests and the results pointed to a malignant tumor which we decided to get removed. The procedure went amazing and we crossed our fingers that it was in our past. Just a couple months later we found what we hoped were not tumors but unfortunately the melanoma came back fast and aggressively. Dr. Blakely discussed our options several times in great detail so we knew what our options were as we navigated our way through a horror no animal lover wants to ever deal with. Doc jumped on multiple calls without hesitation to answer and clarify again every possible question or scenario we had. We truly felt that Dr. Blakely guided us in such a compassionate manner where you knew his priority was in the overall well being of our girl. We unfortunately had to make the hardest decision in a dog owners life which was to put her to sleep. The entire sachem animal hospital made that day the best that it could be, giving us time to say goodbye in a dedicated comforting suite. You could feel how caring the entire staff was throughout the entire process. I want to thank Dr. Blakely and the entire Sachem Animal Hospital team for truly caring about your patients and their families.

My first visit to Sachem Animal Hospital was a great experience. The doctor was kind, respectful, and very caring toward my family and our dog. We felt comfortable and well cared for throughout the visit. I would definitely recommend them to others!

We have been using Sachem Animal Hospital for about 20 years for good reason. The staff and vets all have been outstanding along the way, helping us with skill and compassion to navigate the sometimes challenging medical needs to best care for beloved pets . Dr Adams is extremely knowledgeable as well as Dr Myers and Blakey. All the vets there are. We looked forward to going to the new location with our newest Golden Ginger as well as Jake.

I brought my bulldog Anna to Sachem Animal Hospital this past week for her annual wellness exam and vaccinations, and once again, they reminded me why I’ve trusted them for over 12 years. During the visit, I pointed out a growth on the back of her neck to Dr. Blakely. He and his team performed a fine needle aspiration and took the time to walk me through every possible outcome in clear, thoughtful detail. He was reassuring, patient, and made sure I felt informed and comfortable while we wait for results—letting me know he’d contact me as soon as they came in. That kind of communication makes all the difference when you’re worried about your fur-kid. The very next day, I received a prompt call with results from Anna’s other tests, which I truly appreciated. The new facility is beautiful—clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed—but what really stands out is the staff. Every person you encounter is kind, attentive, and you can tell they genuinely love the animals that walk through the door. It’s been wonderful to watch Sachem Animal Hospital grow and expand into this new space while maintaining the same level of compassionate, top-notch care they’ve always provided. I wouldn’t take my little ones anywhere else.
