War Eagle Cavern

I went there with my wife and four kids, ranging from <5 to early teens. We did the cavern tour and the value pass with the Lost in the Woods Maze and Moonshiners Mystery Shack. We had a great time! Our tour guide was Jeffrey and he was very knowledgeable and great with the kids! It feels great inside the cave (at around 60F) and lots of fun stories and things that our guide pointed out. On the way back, we went down to the boat dock and saw quite a few fish. The mystery shack was pretty entertaining with some optical illusions that make it look like a pool ball is going up hill, or the water is flowing uphill. Plus, the kids liked pumping the water with the hand pump. They also had some entertaining signs. The maze was a fun little addition and the kids were racing to see who would finish first. Each of the employees there were very friendly and would answer any questions you had about the cavern or the NW Arkansas area. I would definitely recommend it!

We really enjoyed our cavern (but it's easier to say "cave" 😉) tour today. We were lucky enough to have George as our guide, and he was so great with our six kiddos! He was very knowledgeable, animated, and had an endearing personality! The cavern was beautiful, easy to traverse, and the perfect temperature for a hot day above ground. We saw a couple of bats, fed the dock fish, and truly loved our time spent there- even got a magnet for the fridge to remember our time.

Our tour of the cave was amazing. Our guide Adam was a wealth of knowledge. He was informative and personable. He made sure the children and adults alike stayed engaged. We learned so many cool facts and even looked up videos when we arrived home that Adam suggested while on the tour. We will definitely direct friends and family there to see the wonders of nature. We are eager to return to the area and learn more cool facts.

The cavern was better than I expected. It's not a huge cave but it's really cool inside...and I mean that in both being neat and the temperature. It was a hot day and as soon as we stepped inside it was like walking into an air conditioned space. I appreciate that A LOT lol. Our house was great. You can tell he loves what he does and went out of his way to involve children as well as the adults. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who hasnt checked it out and are looking for something fun to do.

We toured the War Eagle Cavern on a recent visit to Rogers, Arkansas. We took an Uber to the caverns from our hotel, but we could not connect to the app to request a ride back. We would suggest talking to the driver to organize a ride back before getting dropped off. We had to bum a ride from a cavern employee to get back to town. The staff and tour guides at the cavern were very kind and friendly. They have a nice gift shop & we purchased a magnet to bring home & display on our refrigerator. Josh was our tour guide and he was excellent. He gave the history of the area and included humor & stories throughout the tour. The cavern was beautiful. We saw many rock formations and even saw a few bats. We highly recommend visiting the War Eagle Cavern, just make sure your transportation is set and in place before your visit.

Such a neat tour! Scenery was beautiful and the history was fascinating. Jeffery was an incredible guide. I recommend for any travelers.

War Eagle Cavern was such a cool place to visit! The scenery and surroundings were absolutely beautiful, and the cavern itself was really interesting to explore. Our tour guide, Don, was fantastic — very knowledgeable, entertaining, and made the tour fun from start to finish. We actually learned a thing or two along the way! Definitely worth stopping at if you’re in the area and looking for something unique and scenic to do.

We had an amazing time at War Eagle Cavern! The tour was fun, interesting, and very well organized. Our tour guide did a great job and really focused on safety and security throughout the experience, which made us feel comfortable while exploring the cave. The cavern itself was beautiful and such a unique place to visit. We truly enjoyed learning about the cave and seeing everything up close. One tip for families: if you’re bringing a stroller, you’ll want an off-road or all-terrain stroller because some of the paths can be a little rough. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend visiting War Eagle Cavern!
