Fountain Park

This was an OK little park. I wish that it were a little more unique and perhaps had some more notable features, but it did look like it had a nice amphitheater and artificial lawn that can host small concerts. I’d say that it’s pretty mediocre overall, however.

We absolutely love Fountain park. The farmers market there is packed with goodies.

Fountain Park is a good, practical asset for Rock Hill. As someone who lives nearby, I appreciate always seeing it well-kept. It’s a simple point of pride. The city uses it right: it’s the go-to spot for concerts, festivals, and markets, which does actually help people here feel connected. The turf was a smart move. It’s always green, always usable, and you don’t have to worry about mud. That matters more than grass when you want people to actually use a space. Security can feel light when nothing’s going on, but I’ve noticed during big events the police and staff are much more visible. In the end, it’s the kind of place that makes living here a little better.

What a beautiful park. The fountain is just beautiful. If you walk down two blocks you'll find a sharming/historical street with stores, restaurants and good vibes.

Wow, this fountain is stunning. It was an unexpected surprise when we pulled off the interstate to check out the city of Rock Hill. The fountain had different patterns to go through. And I was surprised at the size and how far the water shot into the air. There was an amphitheatre and several benches around to be able to sit down. I believe I seen a drinking fountain as well. Would love to see this at nighttime.

Beautiful park in Rock Hill, SC with a huge water fountain. Went to the Old Town market here. Market happens every Saturday until October 26, 2024 from 9am-2pm. Lots of free parking. Enjoyed looking around.

Beautiful and well maintained park. Quiet. Not as busy as I thought. It was raining earlier so it may have been a factor to that. It's relatively flat, so it's good for riding a bike or skateboard. I'm not sure if that's allowed but I'd do it anyway. The mist of the fountain water is very refreshing from all of the humidity that we have to deal with. Loved watching the water go up and down, especially when it would hit its peak.
