This place is just so much fun! Been "here" before, but at different locations. This is the same quality, just closer to my home. Staff was great, food was great. I couldn't have asked for more!

Was greeted immediately and asked if I wanted to just order straight from the kitchen bc it would a 30 minute wait if I wanted the food cooked in front of me, I agreed to the kitchen. I was seated at a table by myself near the door. Waited about 10 minutes before ordering. I asked for a cranberry juice, the vegetable spring rolls and the hibachi chicken with fried rice (which comes with salad and soup). Ginger dressing on the salad was very watery, soup was tasty. Next came the vegetable spring rolls which were the highlight of the meal. After another 20 minutes my entree was brought out. The only thing hot on my plate was the rice and the chicken was very tough and hard to chew. There is an 18% gratuity automatically applied to your bill. I even waited over 15 minutes for the waitress to come pick the check up so she can run my card. I would say I would never come back but I’m not from Washington. I wasn’t going to write review until I saw other patrons that came in after me being attended very well.

We visited Mizu Steakhouse in Renton for a hibachi-style birthday dinner, and it was a fun experience overall. The chef was entertaining and kept us engaged while cooking our meals right at the table. Food was good — standard hibachi fare with veggies, your choice of protein (chicken, steak, or shrimp), and fried or steamed rice. My kids didn’t love the fried rice, saying it was a bit too hard, but everything else was solid. We reserved for a party of six and didn’t get seated until five of us arrived, even though two of us checked in right on time. Expect to pay around $40–$50 per person, or go with a two-meal combo for $90–$100. There’s an automatic 18% gratuity added, plus tax, which brought our total to $323 for the group. Heads-up: there’s also a separate tip line on the receipt, likely for the server. To save, pay with one card and split it among yourselves — thanks ChatGPT for that tip! The staff was friendly, and they made my daughter’s birthday extra special with ice cream and a song. Overall, it’s a fun and affordable hibachi spot, though we noticed their food rating was just 1 out of 4 — something to keep in mind. Still, a good option for a lively group dinner with some flair.

such a fun experience! the whole dinner was spectacular from start to finish. watching the chefs cook right in front of us made it so entertaining, and the food was incredible. but what really stood out was the customer service — everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. a huge shoutout to our servers linn and tinny who were absolutely amazing and made the night even better. and chef sam was incredible — not only was the food delicious, but the show while cooking was so fun to watch. you can tell the staff genuinely care about making sure you have a great time. the atmosphere, the people, and the food were all amazing. i’ll definitely be coming back! ⭐️✨

Friendly, great service and fun atmosphere. Food was good overall and extensive menu. Happy hour before 6pm had some good values. Kids eat free Monday.

Good food, though nothing stood out as spectacular. Our chef seemed less entertaining than the others around us, but maybe he was just having an off day. The servers were on top of things and kept everyone in our large group happy.

Mizu Japanese Steak House offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious hibachi-style meals and fresh sushi. The chefs are skilled and entertaining, making it a fun spot for groups. The atmosphere is lively, and the service is attentive. A great place for a memorable meal!

What an Experience!! If you haven’t been, you Should/ Need & Have to go soon! Easier to find than I made it, (Off of 405) at the old Shari’s restaurant! (Outside not much change) new paint! But Inside!!!!🤩🤯😳🤩 Amazing! This is a remodel, that should be on a TV show! It is Stunning! And our chef, Ali, was a Super Star!🌟 💫 Brought a best friend, for his birthday. His first time, at this style of restaurant! He Loved the food, the show and the atmosphere/ experience! Go with a date, your friends, and or your family! It is truly Amazing and Delicious!
