Great community zoo! We went when it was still a bit cold so many animals were still inside. The zoo itself is a moderate size with plenty of walking trails, including one that takes you up close to kangaroos. Well priced at $11/ticket, however some discounts should be given if going later in the day or in cold days. It felt like a lower value since there where not many animals still inside.

a really nice, smaller zoo that’s perfect for a relaxed visit. It’s easy to get around and doesn’t feel overwhelming, which makes it great for families or a quick trip. The animals are well cared for, and the setting right by the lake adds to the experience. The $11 entry fee is very reasonable for what you get, making it a great value overall.

Adorable zoo! Smaller than the one in Milwaukee, but less expensive & not so many people. It was nice to walk around. Right on lake Michigan. Nice variety of animals. Lots of place for kids to play.

It’s a local zoo, not much to see here. Was here for less than a hr. They have a few playground for the kids to play at. But don’t expected to see many animals. Not sure if we went on a bad day but there was probably 4 animals i saw. Parking is free and there is a parking lot to the west of the zoo 1 block if the street parking is full.

Always underwhelmed by how few animals we see. Took more pictures with the art. Got a season pass for something easy to do with the kids. Regret it! The kids are immediately bored and head straight to the playground. Lost a piece of chrome trim driving through the immense construction on the north end. No refund for booking a camp week that didnt work out for us. Quite a few exhibits need basic updating like glass you cant see through or need signs. Kind and friendly employees, but overall not interactive, lacks any stellar exhibits or modern technology, and pales in comparison to similar exhibits such as the discovery museum in milwaukee. Takes about 20 minutes to walk through.

Nice local zoo. Had an interesting mix of animals and ones we have never seen before. We had lunch, ice cream and popcorn. Our favorite was the land down under exhibit with the kangroos.

We came here on a Saturday and it was a very fun time! Its a smaller zoo but they have some great animals and exhibits. Hearing the waves of Lake Michigan crash onto shore as you walk through the zoo is an extra treat! Some of the exhibits were closed which was a little dissapointing. But overall we had a good time. Don't forget to visit Buckner, a parrot who will chat with you if hes wiling. Overall it's a nice small zoo with a good mission. And love it's right on the beach of Lake Michigan!

We visited from chicago , honestly I loved it. I love that the beach is so close by & so you get to see the animals but also an amazing view. We got to brush the goats which was an awesome experience. Seen the animals up close. We did everything from 12 -4 pm.
