It is great! I feel it is what you make it. I believe ahead of time research is well worth your time to be able to know what it is you want to see and do, how much things cost above and beyond the reasonable entrance and parking fees so you will be prepared and able to budget for yourself. Then you can look at the timeline of events etc. I feel they offer something for everyone! There are animals to view up close and personal. Pretty much everything they offer to see is accompanied by educational information. Also there are so many varieties of smaller settings of entertainment as well as the big names of music in the Stadium throughout the scheduled Fair dates. It is good exercise with fresh air just walking around seeing all the things that are not an additional fee. Plus rides, food and a few other things that are an extra fee.

I went to the Puyallup Victorian Christmas Festival. Parking was great and it didn't take long to purchase my ticket. I was there 4 hours and only made it thru one building. A variety of vendors, free gifts, and lots of food options. I think a return visit is a good option.

We've lost wild waves. We must support the state fair where 2 permanent classic coasters operate for less than a month / year. 5 stars - please extend the coaster operating year.

Had so much fun this year. Recommend doing a round trip on the Sky Tram so you can get a good idea of the layout. HINT if you are over 21 you can take your fair food to the top of the 1900 building and order adult beverages and enjoy the view from the top of the building while you eat.

Great holiday experience! Fun for the family. Free face painting, train ride, many places to take to photos, and lots of exhibits to see. After paying for the admission, everything else is free except for the food. Enjoy!

The Washington State Fair is definitely fun with lots to see and do — rides, games, shows, and plenty of food options. It’s a great place to take kids for an exciting day out. That said, it gets very crowded, which makes it harder to fully enjoy everything. The prices add up quickly too, from admission to food and rides. Overall, worth experiencing once in a while, but be prepared for long lines and a pricey day.

We had a great time .it was a granddaughter & grandma day before she goes away to the university . We wanted to see the doggie races.
