Words alone won’t do justice to this review but I will try… I truly cannot say enough good things about this veterinary team. Over the years, they have cared for all of my dogs with such consistent professionalism, compassion, and genuine dedication. One moment that will always stay with me is when I had to say goodbye to my previous dog. It was one of the hardest experiences of my life, and the kindness, patience, and empathy they showed me during that time meant more than I will ever fully express. They treated not only my dog with dignity and love, but also supported me in a way that made an unbearable moment just a little more manageable. I have 3 dogs now and through every phone call, every visit—whether routine or unexpected—the staff has always been attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. They take the time to explain things, answer my endless questions, and make sure both my dogs and myself feel comfortable and cared for. Veterinary professionals are so often underappreciated, and this team deserves all the recognition in the world. I am beyond grateful to have them caring for my dogs and wouldn’t trust anyone else. Thank you for everything you do—for all of these pets and for the people who love them. You are truly special human beings. 5 stars isn’t enough.

Back Bay was so great to deal with. I had trepidation over having my little (5 pound) baby girl spay. They noticed in an instant and went the extra mile to assure me and keep me notified after surgery. Thank you so much Back Bay!

Back Cove is the best animal hospital i have ever been to. After finding out the news about my cats cancer they treated me and my cat with such kindness i will never forgot. they are quick, every single member on their staff is beyond kind and gentle, they always get down to the bottom of anything. you can tell the staff truly cares about every animal they treat. i would recommend this place to everyone

I took my husky mix in yesterday for the first time who is timid and fear aggressive when it comes to being touched and meeting new people! Dr. Strickland was absolutely amazing with her and was so patient and calm with her. She did not rush the appointment and knew exactly how to handle a very anxious and vocal dog and was such an amazing advocate for me and my pup. I have never felt so comfortable as a pet parent leaving an appointment!! I have been raving about Back Cove since I left and I am so grateful. Reia is using pacing and anxious during her appointments even when she is medicated but she was taking treats, had some tail wags and was even laying down. ☺️

Back Cove Animal Hospital worked tirelessly with us to help us and our dog cope with his deteriorating neurological problem. He had many months of good quality life that he would not have had without their skills and support. When our dog came to the inevitable end of his life, Back Cove Animal Hospital provided an incredibly caring and compassionate experience. They truly went above and beyond for us and our beloved pup. So impressed by Dr. Norman and the team. It's clear they really care, and the professional and friendly staff have been so refreshing to interact with. We've been with 7 practices in multiple states over the years, and Back Cove is top notch.
