What a fun place! The history alone makes it worth the visit. The gift shop was awesome, and it was so neat seeing the actual race cars that raced on the beach years ago. The kids also loved sitting on the motorcycle for a fun photo opportunity.
The food was phenomenal! I had the grilled chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun, and it was one of the best I've had. My husband loved the fried flounder and shrimp, and the fries and coleslaw were both delicious. Our girls got the huge burger and the cheesesteak, and both were a hit. The kids' meal even comes in an adorable little race car, which they thought was so much fun!
Right on the beach!! Great food, friendly atmosphere, and a unique piece of racing history. We'll definitely be back! 🏁🍔

★★★★★We really enjoyed the history and the atmosphere of North Turn. We were visiting with friends who stay locally and they recommended going as they are regulars and enjoy it. The view from the outdoor dining was great. We stayed until after sunset and we saw fireworks near or in the direction of the Sunglow Pier.
Beautiful restaurant right on the water in Ponce Inlet. Had an early dinner with my mom. We had a spicy margarita and the piña colada both served in their take home hurricane glass (the glass is plastic and cost $4, but it was a 15oz glass). We then had the lobster grilled cheese with onion rings which was delicious and the drivers fried combo that featured fried fish fillets, fried shrimp (HOGHLY recommend the fried shrimp and supercharged sauce), coleslaw, sidewinder fries (think steak fries but twisty petals), and hushpuppies. Overall, it was a very good meal, great atmosphere and the historic portion of the restaurant was really cool to be able to walk through and learn some of the history of NASCAR racing here at daytona beach/Ponce inlet. Our server, Rhi, was super nice and took amazing care of us!
Had an amazing birthday week meal! Perfect outdoor seating. Had the grilled duo, crab dip, side salad with homemade thousand island & free delicious brownie as a birthday surprise. Will definitely return. Dillon G was super great. He even sang to me. 🎂😊
A very cool place with racing history all throughout the building. There is a large parking lot across the street with a cross walk that makes much easier to get there due to how busy it gets. The bar and dining area faces the ocean and you can enter from the beach side. Best of all, the food is amazing! Extremely good seafood and the live music was great. Not overpowering so we could talk and enjoy.
Of course we couldn't leave Daytona without going by Racing's North Turn which was recommended by a coworker. We arrived after the Daytona 500 and the bottom dropped out as soon as we hit the parking lot! We were seated right away even though the parking lot across the street was pretty full. Jackie was our server and she was friendly and professional. We started with the Potato Bombs which were delicious. I got the "Donnie Allison" fried shrimp and he wanted the Fish & chips however he had to settle for the Barbecue Bacon Burger because they were out of it. Both were satisfying to the taste buds! The atmosphere was nice and we both enjoyed looking around at the history of the racing memorabilia. We got a couple t-shirts and a shot glass from the gift shop.
We were in town for the Daytona 500. We had a great experience visiting the museum and gift shop. The lady in the gift shop was so nice and told us the history of the restaurant! She pointed out the pictures that showed the original Daytona track on the beach. I was so grateful she did this!!! The food was amazing! Our waiter was awesome. The potato bombs were delicious! I loved my pina colada! Great patio over looking the beach. ⛱️ They had live music that was nice!! I will definitely back the next time we visit the area!!
We were in town helping my boyfriend’s father move and he introduced us to this gem! Our server, Jessica, ensured we had the best experience while here. The stuffed grouper was amazing!!! Thanks again love! We will be back!
