Cody's Original Roadhouse - Port Charlotte

Great specials everyday! The salad is so fresh and the dressing is delicious. Not to mention the rolls! My friend got the steak and thought it was tasty and tender. I got the fresh catch of the day slightly blackened. Came out perfect. We have had the same server all 3 visits and he is the best! Love Cody's!!!

Best fresh fish around.... Alaskan Haddock Chris our sever and bartender was awesome. Great quality quantity and reasonably priced. Unfortunately no reaction from management.... That seems not to be inline with service and quality....so possibly managementbis not as good as their staff.... Unfortunate.....

We had Punkit as our server and he was awesome! Very polite and courteous, along with professional service! Unbeknownst to me, Punkit put together a happy birthday cake and servers singing for me, but i went out to get the truck and missed it, so I just want to say thank you Punkit for your kindness on my birthday. Best birthday I have had in a while! Wish you the best! (We were there for a late lunch, great timing, very comfortable)

My teammates and I recently visited Cody's Original Roadhouse in Port Charlotte and had a great experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, fun, and perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Our server, Pulkit, was outstanding. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. His excellent service made our visit even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the portions were huge, offering great value for the price. The fresh salad served at the start of the meal was especially yummy, and the warm rolls with cinnamon butter were the perfect addition. Our entrees were cooked perfectly and left everyone satisfied. If you're looking for great food, generous portions, and exceptional service, I highly recommend Cody's Original Roadhouse in Port Charlotte. Be sure to ask for Pulkit—he'll take great care of you! The only thing I regret is not taking pictures of the food because everything looked as good as it tasted. We'll definitely be back!

Cody’s Original Roadhouse Port Charlotte This place is in Port Charlotte Town Center Mall. It looks cool from the outside and even cooler on the inside. We got there on a Thursday night about 5ish. This place was hopping with a lot of people. It was neat and clean, and I loved the interior decorations. Our waitress Brenda was on the ball with our drink, our food orders, and any questions we had because of our first time there. I got a beer, and my wife got a Pina Colada, both were cold and very good. I ordered the 1lb Prime Rib med well with a side of Mashed Potatoes. My wife ordered the Filet Mignon wrapped in Bacon with a side of Baked Sweet Potato in Cinnamon Butter. For an appetizer I ordered the half stick of Jumbo Onions on a stick. Brenda stated she would bring out warm Rolls with Cinnamon Butter and a bowl of Salad that she would mix for the both of us right at the table. Our Onion Rings were very good and very large. The Salad she mixed and served on cold plates it was so good. When our Steaks came out, they looked amazing. Both are steaks were done perfect and they were so good. We could practically cut them with a butter knife they were that tender. Our side of Mashed Potatoes and the Sweet Potato was also very good. All our food was hot and flavorful. Brenda kept checking on us to make sure everything was perfect even a manager stopped by and asked us how the food was. Our food was some of the best we had in this area in fact the entire experience was one of the best yet. Special thanks out to Brenda for such excellent service and the good vibe of this place. They do run Specials everyday on food and drinks you just have to check. I must give this place 5 out of 5 stars because of the great experience we had there. An Extraordinary Experience at Cody’s Roadhouse in Port Charlotte Our family recently celebrated my grandpa’s 98th birthday at Cody’s Roadhouse in Port Charlotte, Florida, with a party of 35 people. What could have been an overwhelming evening for any restaurant became an unforgettable celebration because of the extraordinary service, hospitality, and care we received. One server—G—served all 35 members of our party from beginning to end. To say that G did an outstanding job would be an understatement. Every meal was correct, every ticket was accurate, and every plate arrived fresh, hot, and delicious. The food came out consistently, back to back, without anyone being left waiting for an unreasonable amount of time. Serving 35 people at once is an incredible accomplishment, and the kitchen staff deserves tremendous praise for preparing every meal with such quality and precision. Our drinks remained full throughout the celebration and were quickly refilled whenever needed. G was attentive without ever being intrusive. He checked on our table at exactly the right moments, patiently waiting until no one was eating or speaking before asking whether everything was satisfactory. He checked in again while clearing the plates, ensuring that every guest had been taken care of. There was not a single complaint from any of the 35 people in attendance. Every adult in our party was extremely impressed and deeply pleased with the genuine hospitality we received. Throughout the evening and afterward, our family continued discussing how remarkable it was that one person had served such a large group so professionally, efficiently, and graciously. One moment, in particular, will remain with our family forever. When it was mentioned that someone needed to cut my grandpa’s steak, G immediately offered to do it so no one else would have to delay eating. He did not treat it as an inconvenience or simply another task. He carefully cut my grandpa’s steak with the patience, kindness, and attention he might have shown to a member of his own family. That simple act of compassion spoke volumes about his character. G was genuine, thoughtful, attentive, patient, and remarkably skilled. Other servers could learn a great deal by shadowing him and observing how exceptional customer service should be delivered. A score of 100 does not feel high enough. Five out of five stars does not feel sufficient. No words, rating, or tip could ever fully express the gratitude we feel. Cody’s Roadhouse proved that it is the restaurant you want to visit, regardless of whether your party consists of two people or 35. If the cooks can prepare 35 meals at the same time and ensure that every order is correct, hot, fresh, and delicious, one can only imagine the care and quality given to a smaller table. To G, the cooks, the management, and everyone at Cody’s Roadhouse: thank you. Thank you for making my grandpa’s 98th birthday so meaningful. Thank you for taking care of our family. Thank you for providing hospitality that went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. You were all phenomenal, but G was truly exceptional. We were impressed then, we remain impressed now, and we will absolutely return to Cody’s Roadhouse. We were a large party of 10 that decided on the last minute to go to Cody’s. They were able to accommodate our party and Kasey provided great service. We will definitely be back. Our steaks were cooked perfect. Wings and cheese logs were amazing. The rolls with the cinnamon butter were like dessert before dinner. Overall a great experience and cannot wait to go back.

We tried Cody’s at this location for the first time. Ty our server was fantastic. He was super friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely fantastic. The cheese logs and chessy cheesy shrimp are definitely worth getting. Tried the combo with half chicken and 10oz prime rib with 2 sides for &36.00. Enough for 2 people and every item was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend Cody’s and ask for Ty, great server.
