Church by the Glades

This is such an amazing Church!! Very welcoming, the worship team is awesome!! The Pastors always have a wonderful message. It’s always the Word of God , Bible based and easy to understand. I’m so grateful to have found this amazing Church… God bless this Community 🙏✝️🙏❤️❤️

They put a nice graphics together to honor the country. They were doing presidents. They left out President Trump. Didn’t even honor president Trump that made this world much more peaceful and stop nine wars , reversed all the DEI stuff this church very woke. Didn’t hear anything about the Holy Spirit Avoid this type of teaching

I love this place, my family and I started attending CBG on Easter 2022, and calling this place home has brought so much blessings to our lives. Being a part of this church family and receiving God's word through praise and worship here touches our hearts every week. Pastor David and his staff are phenomenal people and they really inspire, encourage, and want people to connect with God by using the Bible and creative and relatable messaging. My children are so into this church and connecting with Jesus via the Kids ministry, The Wave, and Rally, so that's been a blessing that every parent should experience. There are also so many ways via CBG or First Baptist Church to give back to the community. No perfect people allowed! :)

This church is amazing it completely changed my perspective on going to church. You have to be ready for it, though. If you’re not modern or open-minded, maybe it’s better to stick to your usual church. This is a modern church exactly what I had been looking for. No heavy protocol, just the pure joy and truth of worshiping God. Everyone is super kind, and the best part is the worship experience. It’s nothing like the boring services I had experienced in the past. The music is full of life and passion it makes you want to stand up and sing even if you don’t know the lyrics. The energy is just incredible, it really takes you somewhere else. I would absolutely come back, and I feel genuinely happy to have found this place.

While visiting family in Fort Lauderdale, we attended this church for the second time and once again had a wonderful experience. The pastor always delivers such an uplifting and powerful message. We will always make it a point to visit CBG whenever we have the opportunity. Come as you are — this church truly is a wonderful place!

Even though I have reviewed over a hundred restaurants and stores I have held off on writing about the place closest to my heart for fear of not having the right words to show how much it means to me. The food places of South Florida might nourish my body but this church is the place that feeds my soul. Week after week I see cruelty and pain everywhere I look around me but this the place I come to see and feel the word of Jesus carried out. Kindness and inclusiveness is at the heart of everything everyone does here. This church lives Matthew 25:36, they feed the hungry and they minister to those who are sick and in prison. In addition to all of their good works the services are awesome. The music team always impresses me. Church by the Glades has some of the best singers I have ever heard. I have never failed to be moved while they are singing. I also always get something useful and applicable to my life from the service. Pastor David or whoever is preaching that day will hook into some pop culture moment and use it to preach a biblical message. The message will have practical implementation to your life. You will never fall asleep or be bored at this church. To get the full experience you must serve or join a group. To me that is the point of church. You get biblical teaching and you use it to help serve others. Since I have joined the photography ministry I have meet so many great people who support each other both inside and outside of church. We meet at 7 pm every Monday night in the choir room, anyone who likes to take pictures is welcome to join. We have fun outings, for instance this Saturday morning to shoot the sun rise over Deerfield Beach. My daughter has joined the film team. Their has taught her so much. She is learning things about film and editing that are standards in the industry and will help her with pursuing her career. This is a creative church that values young people. The programs for kids such as Kidstuf, the Wave, and Camp United are top notch. Your children will love them and develop their own support networks. The people here really care about the youth that attend this church. I could go on and on about my love for this church. They have the most dynamic guest speakers, they support women in ministry, they have life changing mission trips, they put on the best Halloween, Christmas, and Easter celebrations, it is full of creative and artistic people, and the pastors preach engaging sermons full of energy and biblical truth. And they do it at six different campuses every week. There are two prison ministries in Homestead, the main campus in Coral Springs, and campuses on Sample Road, Lake Worth, and down town Ft. Lauderdale. The church has the motto "No perfect people allowed". As Pastor David is fond of saying, God has used the some of the most messed up people to do some of the greatest things. I love how I continue to see and be a part of the great things done every week in God's name here.

This church is awesome!💒. The bank is great and worth going for them alone, the put on shows all the time. They make new visitors feel very comfortable and give a gift, actually 2. The various pastors I have heard are very passionate educated and fun. Give Church by the Glades a try.

If you love dedicated UNINTERRUPTED time for worship music this church definitely is NOT the place...as worship time is always very short and repeatedly interrupted ! Every sunday they spend much more time talking about announcements than singing and worship time?? just two songs?? Thats it!! Sometimes just one song..and then worship is again interrupted by announcements??? Want ultimate proof of what I said above is totally true? attend in person yourself for a few services.It will prove everything say is completely true.. want even more proof..Christmas services should always be filled with extended worship time to celebrate the christmas season. This past 2025 christmas service was totally uninspiring...it was awful.just two songs- that's it!!!Then..as usual.. interrupted again by announcements, Which are then always just completely repeated over again by pastor Hughes??.the third song was not even a christmas song?? That was the entire christmas worship time service.. that's it! Don't understand why this church repeatedly gets so many good high ratings it does not clearly deserve. Unfortunately way too many reviewers are simply not honest..too scared they might offend someone. Clearly too many are just impressed with the fancy new modern building and all the fancy colored laser lights and interpret this as a great inspiring experience.how can this experience ever be so inspiring if its so short and constantly interrupted by never- ending announcements? As for adult singles groups for those over 30? None exist..no events.so no opportunities to meet and fellowship with others..so if you are over 30 and single you clearly dont exist at this church.their annual new years eve party is just another event that proves this point even more so.no one over 30.not even celebration time or a concert for even anyone regardless of marital status over 30?? Proves my point..singles groups/events can make everyone feel welcome.so many say how welcome they feel? A fully welcoming church welcomes everyone..regardless of marital status or age..church by the glades is not all welcoming.. as so many say.its a worn out cliche just to say something nice...by not welcoming adult singles ..which church by the glades wants to believe dont exist so it covers this up and makes everybody untruthfully believe everyone is welcome.the church itself will repeatedly say how welcoming they are to all.. yet dont follow up with actions
