Cannot express enough how happy I am with this shelter!!! I adopted my forever friend yesterday after running across his profile on their website. The staff was so helpful and encouraging throughout the whole process. They congratulated us on our little puppy and celebrated with us too. We were able to pick out toys and supplies to bring home, including a collar and leash, talk to an insurance representative about recommendations, and work with an adoption specialist to answer all of our questions and fill out any necessary paperwork. I am so beyond happy and grateful with how everything turned out. Support Inland Valley Humane Society in any way you can!

Visitor notes
Our family is hoping this reaches the kind people who recently adopted a small black Yorkie mix named Shadow from Inland Valley Humane Society. Shadow is about 11 years old (my kids forget she's older), has only one eye, and is very easy to recognize. She isn't just a dog to us—she has been part of our family for years. We searched for her every day after she went missing, put up signs, knocked on doors, checked local shelters, and never gave up looking. When we finally found her listing, we learned she had already been adopted. We completely understand that the shelter cannot release the adopters' personal information, and this is not directed at the family who adopted her. If anything, we believe they likely opened their hearts believing they were giving a homeless dog a loving home. Our only hope is that this message somehow reaches them. If you recently adopted a one-eyed black Yorkie named Shadow from Inland Valley Humane Society, please know that she has a family who has loved her deeply for many years and has been desperately searching for her. She has a little Shih Tzu brother named Chewy who misses her, and our home has felt empty without her. Shadow has been with us through so many memories. We were there when she survived a terrible dog attack that cost her an eye. We cared for her, loved her, and watched her recover. She loves belly rubs, makes the sweetest little snorting noises, scratches at bedroom doors when she wants to cuddle, and has a personality that is impossible to forget. If you are the family who adopted Shadow, we would be incredibly grateful if you would consider contacting Inland Valley Humane Society and letting them know you are willing to speak with us. Even if the outcome isn't what we hope for, having the opportunity to talk would mean the world to our family. Shadow, if somehow love could find its way to you, know that we haven't stopped looking and we never stopped loving you. We love you, Shadow.
Adopted this sweet boy in December and the adoption process was so smooth! The workers were really helpful and were excited for our boy to be with his forever home. Will always appreciate this adoption center since it’s the place where I adopted my pups - everyone met Pickle!
I want to start by saying that I understand Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A. provides valuable services to the community. However, my experience today was very disappointing due to the lack of awareness and consideration from one of their employees. While traveling down the street in my wheelchair, I encountered one of their vehicles parked directly blocking a curb ramp—the only accessible way for me to safely get down the sidewalk. This forced me to go out of my way and navigate through a much more dangerous area without proper access, putting me at risk of falling or getting injured. What made the situation even more frustrating is that the driver was outside the vehicle, standing and talking to another person while the vehicle was still running. They clearly saw me and chose not to move the vehicle or make any effort to clear the ramp. This shows a serious lack of awareness and respect for people with disabilities. I am sharing this not to criticize the organization as a whole, but to highlight the need for better training and accountability when it comes to accessibility and basic human consideration. Situations like this should not happen.
I’ve had all my cats and one dog spayed and neutered. They have the best prices and seem to treat pets well. I always refer to them. So far 6 pets 🫣 staff is nice and facilities are clean. As for the adoption part it’s so sad to hear all the dogs. People go get a pet, adopt don't shop. So many great pets are available.
First, I cannot speak on the shelter nor animal control aspect of this facility, only the vet clinic. The reviews for those services horrify me. I hope they have made improvements. With that said, I can only speak on their vet and customer services in the clinic itself. I was impressed with the facility in so many ways. From their response to my online request for appt. to booking and paperwork, to the actual neutering service and wrap up. The front and back offices ran like a well oiled machine. Very efficient, courteous, and professional. Their prices are reasonable and they don't gouge like other veterinary offices or clinics. I would not hesitate to use their veterinary services again. Thank you ladies and gentlemen, you are awesome!
I want to share my experience. Besides the negative reviews, I want to tell you about the loss of my beloved Chihuahua, who was my best friend and always by my side with my kids. My sister visited with her German Shepherd, and they quickly became friends. After my Chihuahua passed away, I felt lonely, so I decided to adopt a new furry friend. I found an amazing dog who, despite some comments about being dominant or aggressive, was just adjusting to a new environment and feeling comfortable with us. I believe his past in a kennel contributed to his initial shyness. But he’s the most friendly and loving dog I’ve ever met. He's wonderful with my kids, full of love, and gets along great with other dogs. He minds his own business, is playful, and brings so much happiness and joy to our lives. I'm so grateful for your support, especially when he had kennel cough. I called you immediately, and you responded quickly, providing everything he needed. I truly appreciate your help. RADLEY is the best his new name is Riley like the movie inside out ❤️🐶❤️
Little Black Baby had his neutering surgery done here. Community cats often visit my home. I took a little black cat here for neutering, and after the procedure, they provided a space capsule carrier to take her home. When I returned it, I met an auntie who was donating her cat's unused items to the shelter. She was sad, but she was so kind-hearted. She was passing on kindness—this place is filled with love.
