My family and I had such a fun experience at this zoo. It was easy to spot the majority of the animals if they weren't already front and center. A great place to walk around and check out each exhibit and they have a little place for the kids to play. Will definitely be coming back whenever we come through the area again.

We had lots of great animal experiences. We watched the porcupine amble around looking for food. Saw a badge dirt bath. Played peekaboo with a grizzly bear. Got a show from both the white and colored peacocks. Enjoyed the elk wandering around. Had a staring contest with an owl. Almost got kissed by a cow. This is a great little zoo, a place that values its animal and has room to welcome more animals in need of a safe place.

Not a fan. For one thing the college kid at the desk has no personality and hardly acknowledged our presence. And then we saw maybe 5 out of the 20/25 animals there. Most were not out and about at all. There's a long stretch with no animals, just walking in the hot sun. And, when you're up above walking the top of the loop, there are several gaps small child could fit under and fall straight down 30 feet into animal enclosures. Or just climb over the short rails. Not safe at all.

We loved this zoo! We had a large family group, 14 people, teenagers and adults, and all had a great time! It is not very big but it was just delightful. All of the people who work there were very helpful and were happy to talk about the animals. The animals all seem to be very well taken care of. The grizzly bear is beautiful! We loved the badger and the porcupine! All the deer and goats were fun to watch! The zoo is well maintained and has lovely views. I use a mobility scooter and it was very easy to get around to all of the exhibits. I give this place a 10 out of 10.

The zoo is rather small and It’s a walk! Like all uphill walk. But the zoo is fun and cute. We loved looking at the animals. It was very clean and well taken care of. It was a fun place to stop at on our vacation.

Very well kept zoo. We were able to see all the animals except the mountain lion. It looked like they may have been doing work on his confinement area. I felt a little bad for the squirrel because we only saw one in that confinement. It looked like it was all alone and he ran up to the glass like he wanted to play with us.

This was a fun gem to find during our recent stay in Pocatello for a wedding. It’s a small zoo and may not have the most “impressive” lineup of animals, but it was nice for walking around for an hour. It’s interesting to see some of the animals more native to this area more closely. My kids said it felt like we were going on a hike - some of the trails were a bit steep. The zoo keeper we saw was really nice, and the cashier was also very kind. Fun place to come if you have an hour or two to kill.

So basically i walked in and this place is not really good and i don’t know why they have a squirrel in a cage, he is sad and i feel bad for it and it doesn’t have a friend. highly recommend the gift shop though. really cool plushies and they have cute goats and donkeys and there was a lot of animals not there for some reason and it’s pretty sad and lonely but they have cool rocks and if your a person that likes walking a lot this is your zoo to go too. but if you don’t like walking and seeing a sad squirrel in a cage then this isn’t your zoo to go too. they also have cute Marmots and they look happy and joyful but you can’t really get close you have to see it from a far but it’s my favorite part and yeah just not really the vibe
