Visiting this car museum honestly felt like traveling back in time πŸš—β³. The moment I stepped inside, it was like entering a completely different era. The collection of vintage cars and beautiful carriages was incredibly fascinating and full of history. Every exhibit had something unique about it, making the whole experience both fun and educational. One of the highlights of my visit was the wonderful gentleman working in the showroom. He was extremely knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the history behind the vehicles. We ended up having such an interesting conversation about the cars, the carriages, and even the story of the Frick family. As a traveler, it was really nice to learn more about why they are so well known and respected in Pittsburgh 😊. I was so engaged in the conversation and exploring the museum that I almost missed my bus! πŸ˜… That alone says a lot about how captivating the experience was. I would absolutely recommend stopping by if you enjoy history, classic automobiles, or simply discovering something unique. Definitely worth the visit!

The freaking state has many free activities from their greenhouse, their car and carriage museum and a art gallery with a free section to visit. The staff was very friendly and explaining what was accessible with the option to pay to see access even more features which we didn't have time to do that day. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area to see this very interesting collection of artifacts collected by the Frick family.

Beautiful buildings and grounds. Interesting stories behind everything. Must visit this when you are in Pittsburgh.

We visited and took the 10:15 tour of Clayton on a Saturday. There were only 6 people total plus our tour guide. It felt like a very intimate and in depth tour. Our tour guide was Eden and he was extremely knowledgeable. He answered any questions we had and we learned so much. We were very impressed with him! We would love to come back to tour the 3rd and 4th floors in the future.

Not a Architecture tour of the house and furniture belongings… It has reconstituted to a tour focused on legacy of the Frick family It is a nice deep dive into the Frick business business decisions and the gilded golden lifestyle Gives you a good perspective on the haves and have nots of the late 1800s early 19th century Great look into what Bezos Musk Tim Cook Zuckerberg Trump Oligarchy is πŸ‘€ like….

I love this museum! I've ben twice now, and plan to go again fall of 2026. The Lewis Hine Exhibit which I saw with my sisters Mother's Day weekend, was amazing and I learned a lot about the steel industry and children's experiences working at the mills as well as kids who came over as immigrants. It was an eye-opening exhibit about American history. Also saw the Rembrandt exhibit two years ago, that exhibit showcased Rembrandt with two other artists, it was an awesome exhibit! Also, the gardens at the Frick are so beautiful! You will truly enjoy visiting this museum with family and/or friends.
