Grandview Overlook

Absolutely stunning experience at Grand View Overlook. The name says it all — the views overlooking the city are incredible, especially at sunset and at night when the skyline lights up. One of the best spots in Pittsburgh to stop, relax, take photos, and really appreciate how beautiful the city is. The overlook is clean, peaceful, and gives you that perfect panoramic view of downtown, the rivers, and the bridges all in one place. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or you live nearby, this is a must-see location. Great place to bring family, friends, or just clear your mind for a few minutes. If you’re anywhere near Pittsburgh, do yourself a favor and make the trip to Grand View Overlook. Truly a 5-star experience and one of the most memorable views in Pennsylvania.

The view here is truly breathtaking, especially once the sun goes down and everything lights up. It's quite magical to witness the city transform at night. While the scenery is a definite highlight, I did notice that parking can be a bit of a challenge. It might be a good idea to arrive early if you're planning to drive. Despite the limited parking, the stunning nighttime panorama is well worth the effort.

Spectacular view of downtown Pittsburgh, the Three Rivers, and the surrounding region. We came in the morning, and the lighting was near perfect. There was plenty of parking along the side of the road. Several spots along the sidewalk where you can stop and take in the view.

Life changing views. Walk along the Main Street to get even more spots to take it all in!

One of the best views of Pittsburgh. Everyone visiting the city should checkout Mount Washington. It's absolutely gorgeous at night.

Grandview overlook offers a breathtaking view of Pittsburgh from above. While it’s quite a walk from the incline to get there, you may need to take your time as you’ll be walking up and down a steep hill twice. However, the walk is definitely worth it for a different view of the city.
