Zia Records (Thunderbird - North Phoenix)

Collectors, pay attention! Don’t let the name fool you. Zia Records has so much more than the name implies. It would be more accurate to call it Zia Collectors Market! If you love vinyl, this place has the best selection, and be prepared to spend at least a couple hours browsing. But it is also a cool museum of vintage clothing, comics, DVDs, books, anime, hot wheels, Funko Pop, action figures, and more. It is so much fun to shop here, and they have something for people of all ages. This store and the Bethany Homes location are both awesome— visit both!

I absolutely love coming to this location. Both times I had visited, the staff was very kind and helpful. The first time I went with my grandma and the second time I came with my friends and as young people in the alternative community we felt very welcomed. (Also I love sublime :) )

Great variety of vinyls. Some might be a little expensive but nothing that I wouldn't expect. Great deals its always clean i love shopping here its always a vibe and employees are always nice to talk to

It's a little rough out there on that particular corner but this Zia is legendary on both inventory and customer service. The staff literally ordered me a $7 CD from another state. Insane video game inventory with mostly fair pricing for every system you can imagine. Items turnover quick so there's always something new to see. My CIB Zelda switch oled was immaculate and is holding up really well. Trades take long to process but that's because of high volume so if you have a big trade, maybe get lunch or dinner and come back.

Friemdly staff and great selection. Good deals and lots of random stuff you didn't know you needed to buy. There was a little extra parking lot off to the side too.

I love this it's one of the only Old School record shops around that still practical and within the price range of most people. It's like an old dinosaur that has every known for dariel disease that mankind has and we know it's time is limited but until it's gone it's still enjoyable to Ride the lightning

This is not necessarily a negative review, I like this store a lot! I am fairly new to selling at trade and sell shops. The first time I went to sell used and brand new items, I got an okay and honest price and feedback, 6.50 for a brand new dj set and two working lights. The last time, they practically took my items for free with me not realizing it. 1.00 for my well kept collectable pikachu stuffy and .50 cents for my well kept rubik's cube. I feel like I might have gotten taken advantage of. If someone can kindly give me feedback on what the minimum I should be getting for a lightly used or brand new items, even as an on sale price, that would be great! I like this store a lot. Might just come in when that other lady I worked with first, is working. I got more for used items than I did for new items. I know it depends on what they need, if it works, and if they want it. I wish they could of decline my last sale instead, I felt something was off because I practically gave away my last sale for free and now I am bummed and going to be more aware and wise next time and prepared. Know your stuff. Sell them what will sell at their store. I figured they make decent of sales re-selling customer sold items. Again not a hate post, I am just bummed and want a little more info. Its giving me yard sale vibes just to rid of your items and that could be their goal but I am not too sure. Thank you zia records, you are an awesome fun store to be at! Hope to hear from someone 🙂
