My wife and I enjoyed our visit to the "Uptown Farmers Market." The market is regarded as a major community hub for supporting Arizona's local growers and makers. It runs Saturdays (8 a.m.–1 p.m.) and Wednesdays (9 a.m.–1 p.m.), offering fresh produce, artisanal goods, fresh baked bread, and prepared foods from local food trucks. They have some great local vendors such as "Anita's Area Farms Arizona," "The Tamale Store," "Dr. Hummus," "Bagelero," and "Feather and Flame." We really enjoyed walking around and talking with the different vendors, tried some samples, and took home a few goodies. Even if you don't buy, it's perfect for families. Bring your dogs for available dog treats and support your local community businesses.

Visitor notes
This is perhaps the best farmers market I've ever been to—and that's saying something; I go to a lot of farmers markets. It's unbelievably massive, with probably over 100 vendors. Only a small portion of them are actually farmers selling produce, but it's enough to still scratch that itch. In addition, you'll find baked goods, pickled good, hot goods, frozen goods, drinks, crafts, and anything else you can think of. There's also a huge amount of vegan, gluten-free, and otherwise allergy-friendly options. It's a perfect way to spend a morning. Come hungry and enjoy as much of the incredible food as you can. The standout vendors for me were, in no particular order: • Copper State Bread • Gold Soda Co. • Let's Toast • Lillie Mae's Pickled Garden • Local Arizona Farms • Lulu's Sorbetto There are restrooms available in the church, a huge parking lot, and even a giant bouncy house. This place is almost more like a state fair than a farmers market. I can't recommend it highly enough.
So many great vendors, I wish we would have gone here earlier in our trip so we could have purchased fresh produce for our meals rather than the late night target run we did on our first night. Great for souvenirs as well!
Well organized! There are vendors that sell all kinds of dietary restricted foods, I'm simply flabbergasted! I was not expecting to take home much as a first timer and boy was I wrong. We actually found sugar free, gluten free, low calorie, vegan desserts that ACTUALLY tasted delicious! I was shocked to find delicious vegan cream cheese. I tried crispy Samosas for the first time, it was so delicious and made my headache go away, this whole experience was enlightening for my daughter and i. To make it better, the people were in good spirits and all the well behaved dogs were a cherry on top!
Great place, great people. It is a way to support local community, and enjoy great food.
Great huge market, tons of parking, awesome foods.... Many places have outrageous pricing though. High energy, no live music though, but a great time just walking around!
For the first-timers like myself, lol, just know this farmer's market is HUGE!!! Be sure to wear comfy walking shoes and try not to get overwhelmed 😉. There's something for everyone food-wise. I especially loved the wide selection of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options, as well as fresh seafood for us pescatarians. Of course there's plenty of locally grown produce, handicrafts and food offerings. Every booth owner was friendly and informative about their products. Very dog friendly too!!! Even a play area for the wee folks. My husband and I will DEFINITELY be back!
Loved it! All the food/drinks we had were awesome. My bagel sandwich from bagel daddies and coffee from Caffio espresso were both so good! My daughter loved her pretzel from doughbox and my husband really liked his sandwich from let's toast. We can't wait to come back!
