UnderTow Arcadia at Century Grand

Really amazing underwater pirate themed bar. We went as a group of 7 and highly recommend reserving in advance. The reservation fee minus the booking fee is applied to the final bill and the reservation allows you to stay maximum 1.5 hours. There is no food available here to eat beforehand! We ate at Supreme Shawarma up the road and it was fantastic! The drinks at Undertow are about $20 each so this is a good one drink and done kind of place unless you are situated to do otherwise. The drinks are absolutely delicious; we tried a variety of different drinks and loved every one. The flavors really shine and you can tell you’re drinking a cocktail that has been carefully crafted and balanced. Highly recommend for the experience, especially with a group of friends!

Phenomenal Tiki Bar. This is the type of establishment I'd love to be a local at. The space, drinks, menu, decor, and service was excellent. Every drink I had was delicious and well balanced. I could spend all day here going through the menu and what they have to offer. Bring some friends, grab a few bowls and enjoy your time at this lovely spot.

Scottsdale is lucky to have such a great Tiki bar! We loved the drinks, fun and authentic ambiance, andddd the hidden menu charcuterie board. The bartenders were good sports entertaining our custom drink requests (for other tiki classics). We especially loved Jonah's friendly enthusiasm. Will definitely come back when in the area.

It's a cozy place so might get loud, but without a doubt the most immersive tiki bar I've been to. Drinks are good, bartenders check every cocktail before it's served. Water glass was never empty and all the staff were very friendly. Definitely worth your time.

Undertow is a standout, an incredibly immersive tiki experience with amazing attention to detail in every corner. The atmosphere is transportive, the cocktails were balanced and delicious, and the whole evening felt thoughtfully curated. The staff were wonderful from start to finish, from the welcoming hostess to the bartenders who made the experience feel fun and memorable. A seriously well-crafted night out for tiki and cocktail lovers…I’d happily drift back anytime. Cheers!

I've been to Undertow 100 times and I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! Undertow is the industry standard for tiki bars and immersive experiences. Everything from the portholes, to the tiki music/ sound effects, to the occasional thunderstorms all blend perfectly to create the most believable and genuine experience possible. The drinks are some of the best tiki cocktails possible and the bartenders are as friendly and accommodating as it gets. They're serious about the 90 minute time limit so don't get offended if they ask yo to leave politely. Do not visit Arizona without checking out Undertow!

Atmosphere: 8.5/10 Located inside Century Grand in Phoenix, which houses three different bars. Fully immersive tiki concept set in the underbelly of a ship. Quirky and well executed, with ship and pirate-themed background music, ambient sound effects, and animated visuals playing through a faux window. No traditional backbar—the ship design is the focus. Plenty of bar seating and tables. Music volume works well for the theme. Drinks: 9/10 Recommendation: Off The Grid, Passionfruit Mojito Tiki-style menu with good-quality drinks. Menu structure could be clearer, but selection is solid. Flavor execution is very good across the board. Coasters are provided for most drinks, depending on glass type. Glassware is average. Garnish is classic tiki and well done. Presentation, including ice, is decent and consistent with the concept. Service: 8.5/10 Water served on arrival. Friendly and attentive team. Professionalism is average but service runs smoothly. Reservations recommended. Prices are average for Phoenix.

This place was an absolute treat! Best Tiki in Phoenix in my books, quite possibly a top Tiki bar in the USA, but a solid recommendation for anyone who truly is looking for real tiki atmosphere and drinks for a night out. I was in Phoenix on business and this was a highlight of my few days here! The Rum Barrel was recommend and was incredibly good, peach forward. Decided on the Missionary’s Downfall for drink two, phenomenal! If you like minty, herbal drinks it’s a pleaser! The bartender treated me to a fizz drink because I was asking questions about how it’s made and the technique to getting the foam to rise out of the glass so perfectly. Very knowledgeable staff! The staff struck up conversation and really appear to love what they do. Plus the space is both well themed and quite intimate while remaining fun and inviting. Highly recommend reservations, but don’t worry about the fee to reserve. It’s applied to your bill when you are done as a credit!
