The Arrogant Butcher

Tyler was a great server, the hostess was very kind and friendly. We were advised to try the meatballs so we did, they were amazing. I had the AB Burger with truffle fries. It was the best burger I've had in Phoenix, so big props there! The NY Strip was also amazing, and the peppercorn sauce was on another level. If you're in DTPHX, grab a meal here. Worth the visit!

Our server, Stephanie, I hope I remembered correctly, was so helpful! I have diverticulosis and she made sure what I ordered did not have seeds. The food was spectacular and reasonably priced. Lovely bottle of wine! Truffle potatoes were our favorite! I had pork tenderloin with wrapped bacon, salad with cherries and those awesome potatoes 😋 My husband had sea bass🙌. Dessert was the sticky caramel cake, yummy!!! We totally enjoyed everything! Oh, we parked in cityscape parking, and the hostess validated our parking, so no cost for that. Great lovely location! Fun for a couple or group! Highly recommend!

Great food and a wonderful atmosphere! They even offer The Prisoner wine and plenty of it. The blue cheese olive martinis were outstanding, and the menu features hearty, down home favorites. I highly recommend the prosciutto pork chops. The pretzels with cheese and Brussels sprouts make excellent appetizers as well. The service was exceptional, and the restaurant is clearly very well managed. I highly recommend Arrogant Butcher to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Edit: came back for a second time this week. 2 prime ribs. Same experience. Same amazing food. Atmosphere is great. I’ll come here anytime in am in Phoenix. How can you not give this place a 5 star review!?! Food - on point (NY Strip & prime rib). Service was awesome.

Excellent food & fun atmosphere. The vibe & music when we walked in was surprising & super fun. My twin & I were in town celebrating our birthday with our mom. Alex was our waiter & he was very helpful with drink & dinner suggestions. Mom had an Espresso Martini & we tried the Watermelon Margaritas…drinks were very good. Entrees were Atlantic Salmon & the Crispy Chicken…the salmon melted in your mouth & the chicken was so moist you didn’t even need a knife to cut it. We shared the Royale Banana Split for dessert…they put an edible Happy Birthday sign & candles in our dessert which was really nice. The dessert was amazing…our favorite part was the carmalized bananas…it was definitely a perfect end to a memorable dinner.

My boyfriend and I went on a date a couple days ago, and we had absolutely delicious food at The Arrogant Butcher! I think you all should go here! I want to talk about the delicious food we got and the wonderful service! We were also told that just about everything on their menu is made from scratch. That includes the various sauces they use for their dishes! So that's nice! For an appetizer we ended up getting House Soft Pretzels that came with provolone fondue—some of the best pretzels we've ever had anywhere! In case you're wondering about the pretzels. I was told they make pretzels from scratch every morning! For a entree I got something on their menu called Butcher's Meatloaf! It came with delicious servings of mashed potatoes, buttered green beans, and meatloaf with a brown sugar tomato glaze. I ended up deciding I wanted an additional side that sounded delicious. It was hard to choose, but I ended up getting an additional side of macaroni & cheese. The macaroni had aged cheddar, provolone, and parmesan. I wish I could buy the sauce they make for their macaroni!!!! My boyfriend picked from The Butcher's Box part of their menu. The entree you pick from it includes a choice of one side. My boyfriend picked the Roasted Half Chicken cooked in lemon herb butter. He picked the French Fries that had truffle aioli as his side. I felt that the meatloaf at this place was some of the best meatloaf I've ever had, and my boyfriend is obsessed with chicken and said the chicken was the best chicken he's ever had. The quality of the food is amazing, and my boyfriend and I left the place happy. Oh, I gotta talk about the service! The service at The Arrogant Butcher is as wonderful as the food is delicious. It was our first time going here, and everyone was so nice and welcoming! Especially the server! We had a bunch of questions, and our server was super helpful. The server even jotted down my boyfriend's food allergies and let us know that they have a separate fryer that's not used for anything that might cause an allergic reaction if someone has a food allergy. So that was nice! WE ARE DEFINITELY GOING BACK HERE!

Amazing Bar Experience & Outstanding Service We sat at the bar at The Arrogant Butcher in downtown Phoenix, and the bar area was really nice. Sandy, our server, was incredible—super knowledgeable and helped us pick the perfect drinks. The margaritas were the best I’ve ever had, especially with their house-made syrups. Food highlights: the House-Made Pretzels with Provolone Fondue, Crispy Brussels Sprouts,(samples) and Crispy Shrimp—all must-tries. We also ordered the New York Strip, Buttered Green Beans(not pictured), and Oysters on the Half Shell. The steak was a little dry based on how it was ordered, but the oysters were excellent, especially after the chef gave us a perfect do-over. The green sauce was incredible. The manager was great—she checked on us throughout the night to make sure everything was up to par, which really elevated the experience. The two ladies in the kitchen were also wonderful and made our visit even more memorable. If you have room, don’t skip the Mascarpone Cheesecake. Amazing food, great service, and absolutely worth the money. I’ll definitely be back!

From start to finish, the food was amazing. Fish was fresh, steak cooked to perfection. The jalapeño mignonette with the oysters was a nice twist. Restaurant was very dark but sets the tone for a nice ambience. Service started off great but during dinner we had to ask other staff to assist in water refills, drink orders etc as our server was no where to be found. Otherwise great experience and will come back again.
