A cornerstone of downtown Phx, situated right down the street from Tracks in Wax. I always hit both anytime I'm in the area. Stinkweeds has an excellent selection of indie artists, but they also stock mainstream releases. Anyone can walk in here and find music they like. Staff is very friendly without being overwhelming or in your face. I especially like going through the used bins as you will see music here that you most definitely won't see at places like Zia. They also price their used vinyl at very fair prices. The discount bins here are worth going through. Lots of items in there that got discounted over time from much higher prices, but still couldn't find a new home. Pull up the step stool and dig for a bit. Keep up the good work, Kimber.

Awesome gem of a record shop in AZ. Probably my favorite so far, most organized selection with everything labeled compared to other record stores. Staff is very friendly and approachable with any questions. Brought home a hard to find punk record and my spouse was actually able to easily find records from one of his favorite bands. Plus there’s zines, catalogs, flyers that are free to take home! I forgot how awesome these were back in the day and glad to see them available in 2026 when everything is digitalized. Just one small thing: Needs more older/earlier pressings of punk records at this shop since I definitely would come back!

Very cool store! Definitely a hidden gem. Pricing is very good. Store was clean and smelled good. Well organized. Friendly staff. Massive selection. A little bit of everything. Liked all the different event advertisements and the wall they have to keep track of releases. If you like record stores- this is a must stop.

Nice store, nice people. My only issue is with getting show tickets. Every time I try there is an issue. This last time they just couldn't get it to work. I am grateful they offer this service, however something is off with these transactions. Not sure if that is just the ticket vendor or what. Yes, I know I can get the tickets online, but not a big fan of the services fees and I like the ticket stub.

Pretty good selection to choose from including albums, cds and even cassettes. They also have turn tables available. Nice way to kill an hour or so on a Saturday flipping through physical music like when I was in my younger days!

Stinkweeds is a great place to visit for music. The store is clean, well organized, nice staff, and parking in the back. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular, but was very happy to find a 1975 Willie album! I will be sure to stop in again during my next trip to town!

This place doesn’t have everything, but it’s REALLY good. I was doing a murder mystery night once and we wanted to theme it out saloon style. We went in and the gentleman there was able to recommend us to vinyls that were on point for the theme we were going for. Would recommend checking it out if you’re in the area

The best record shop in greater Phoenix. Highly curated inventory—you don’t need to do a lot of digging to find good stuff.
