Southwest Truck Driver Training

My experience with Southwest was great!! They went above and beyond to get us ready for our CDL. They have amazing staff always willing to help out on any questions we have, my class instructor travis did an amazing job teaching us and also made it fun......Jorge my driving instructor did very good teaching us in the range...his teaching is amazing and you get to learn a lot while making it fun. Overall am very happy with Southwest truck driving school and definitely would recommend it!!!!

The most exceptional experience I have ever had with Chuck was truly remarkable. It provided me with an exceptional learning opportunity, and everything exceeded my expectations. I gained a wealth of knowledge, and the information provided was both informative and practical. The flexibility of attending both day and night classes was invaluable, allowing me to balance my personal and professional commitments while still attending school. The opportunities provided to succeed were truly remarkable.

I had a great experience with Southwest Trucking School while removing the restriction from my CDL Class A. I took a refresher course and learned how to drive a manual transmission, and my trainer, Tabitha, was outstanding. She really helped me rebuild my confidence and reminded me that I am a driver. Her attitude, patience, and ability to encourage me made a huge difference. She pushed me in the right way and helped me get through moments where I doubted myself. I also want to recognize Rosie, the driver recruiter. She was incredibly attentive and stayed on top of everything. When I needed to retest, she made sure I was getting follow-ups and was scheduled properly. That kind of support goes a long way. The entire team at Southwest Trucking School genuinely cares. They didn’t let me walk away feeling defeated—they made it clear they were willing to work with me until I succeeded. Thank you to everyone there. I truly appreciate the support, and I wish nothing but the best and continued blessings to the whole team.

I enrolled in SWTDT and had a fantastic experience. from the classroom with Ken who is an awesome teacher, to working on the range with Travis. Travis set up not only myself but my whole group for success with his guidance and knowledge. From learning pre trip, the maneuvering to being on the road. He made it easy and made everyone comfortable. Fantastic instructor 100/10!!!

To start, This school is amazing! Came in with out any knowledge on commercial truck driving from front door all the way to today, I have learned so much and i am extremely thankful for all of my instructors here at SWTDT for helping me learn everything there is to know about this profession. Starting with Ken, he is an amazing guy with tons of fun and crazy stories. He figured out a new way for me to learn, which I have always struggled with. During the first 2 weeks, he helped not only me, but every student get all of the knowledge they Will need in order to proceed to the 2nd step. Even though some questions sounded dumb if we had asked him, he was very professional about it and answered them to the best of his ability! Onto the 3rd and 4th week, my instructor was Dee. Dee makes learning a ton of fun and helps me think of hard stuff the easy way. He was very intent on making sure we all knew everything for the career path ahead. Very respectful and honest about everything he did and said. Overall I felt confident by the end of the 2nd week in order to pass the final examination skills with Jorge, who is a very smart guy and is extremely respectful as well just like Ken and Dee. Finally after the skills examination test, I went to the classroom with Tabitha who is a very fun and understanding person who helps everyone get what they need to know. Overall, I highly suggest SWTDT as a school for your new career path and obtaining your CDL the best way.

Because of the training and support I received from Chuck, David, and the entire team, I felt well prepared for my CDL test and my future career in trucking. This school was amazing and so well structured. My initial contact with their admissions working with Rosie was a breeze. She answered all my questions and made my enrollment process effortless. Once I started school my instructors Chuck and George were phenomenal! Very knowledgeable patient and super easy going. Chuck knows the trucking industry like nobody else. Very professional and funny if I may add which made being in class enjoyable. George was so patient out in the yard and gave nothing but great constructive criticism. Big shout out to Dave and David as well too! Very much recommend this school
