Bought my cards, but owner in my opinion greedy. Bought 130 pokemon vintage and modern(full art) cards for 90$. The gold mew and and Snorlax by themselves were 60. And they were all in fantastic condition. Sleeved. And if you have to take advantage of people over some pokemon cards, id say greedy. Otherwise nice shop. Lots of over priced things.

Really friendly service, great item selection, and good prices. With comic book shops having stereotypes of bad customer service they absolutely break the norm being friendly, well knowledged and informative, and understanding of kids. Something for all people of all ages and staff to help you find out. Definitely worth the visit

Truly fantastic shop! Their back issues were well organized, and we found books at very fair prices. The staff were helpful, friendly, and quite kind to our children. There was a great selection: key grails, new releases, back issues. There were toys, trinkets and books that my children were very content to explore as well as free coloring pages, making this one of the least stressful comic shops to visit with children in tow. There was something for everyone. My 3-year-old's grabby hands were occupied with diligently searching a 3-tier cart of $1 pins for the perfect ones to add to his backpack, while my husband found an obscure back issue that's been on his wishlist for at least a decade. (He insists on finding books in store rather than online.) We were passing through while traveling, but this seems like a great community-oriented spot. A group of adults were gathered there for a game. And at the register I noticed a summer reading program for children.

I discovered Samurai Comics in Phoenix and it quickly became my favorite comic book store in the area. The selection is amazing, from the latest issues and graphic novels to manga, anime merchandise, and collectibles, everything’s well organized and high quality. The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable about comics, and helped me dig through back-issues I didn’t even know I wanted. The vibe in the store is relaxed but enthusiastic, perfect for fans and casual readers alike. If you’re looking for a comic-shop that delivers variety, passion, and a welcoming atmosphere, Samurai Comics hits the mark.

Ill be honest i live in mesa and work monday -friday so i got here on sunday at 2pm and need to get alot of staple singles for pokemon. My wife liked this location and wanted to come by. I have 5 decks that i have to finish and was missing alot of bulk cards. 25cent to 50 cent max. Well because they were running a gundam tourny and busy they were not letting people look at singles. Just a heads up if you are wanting to look at bulk and they have a tournament going on.

I absolutely love this location. Everyone is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. My favorite place to be every Wednesday.

Our first time here and it's was really cool. Small but still worth going and getting B-day presents for our 13 year old son. Employees very very nice and helpful.

The female Cashier was very rude and needs to keep her comments to herself. My boys liked this comic book store because they have more options than some of the other locations we go to. I'm going to give them another chance and hopefully our next experience is delightful and the cashier doesn't throw in any unnecessary comments. Maybe then I will change my review.
