The salesperson who helped me was professional and courteous. My issue was not with her service, but with the value proposition. I was shown a 14k 4mm chain that weighed approximately 6.5 grams at a price point around $2,700. I routinely handle older family gold jewelry and pay close attention to gram weight, construction, and overall substance. The chain felt unusually light for both its visual size and asking price. After comparison shopping the same day, I found another established jeweler selling a similar 14k chain weighing approximately 10.5 grams for roughly $500 less. That competitor also offered a lifetime warranty and gemstone replacement coverage, so I personally did not find the warranty argument compelling enough to justify the pricing difference. Based on my experience, I did not feel the pricing aligned with the material value or construction quality of the piece I was shown. I would encourage customers shopping for gold jewelry to compare: - gram weight, - solid vs hollow construction, - and overall gold content before making a purchase decision. To be fair, I understand Joyeria Diaz Jewelers also does custom jewelry work, which I did not examine, so I can only speak to the standard retail pieces I personally saw during my visit.

I recently went in looking for a Cuban or curb link chain for a mother's day gift. The woman who helped me was very professional and polite. I originally chose Joyeria Diaz Jewelery based on the rave reviews regarding the quality of their pieces. When I arrived, I was a bit disappointed with their selection, but I was shown a 20" (I believe) 4mm 14k chain. It was priced at around $2,750. When she handed it to me, it felt light. I asked for a weight and it came in at about 6.5 grams... or approximately $423/gram. For reference, a few hours later, I went to Shane Co and I looked at a 20" 2.8mm 14k curb chain. It weighed in at approximately 10.5 grams and it was priced at $2,025 (still a high price, but at least its into fair pricing territory). My point being is that Shane co. is over $500 less for 60% more gold. I understand jewelry pricing, and the fact that there is going to be a markup whenever you shop at a jeweler vs. buying from a pawnshop or a wholesaler, but I just could not justify paying close to $1,000 over what the piece should have cost. Again, the sales woman was friendly. This is not a knock on her. I'm just not really sure what the pricing is based on.

Great spot with a wide variety of options. Very friendly and helpful team. And very good sales as well. Highly recommend this place.
