Il Primo Pizza & Wings

I’ve been eating at Il Primo Pizza & Wings for over 35 years. Growing up, my family came here every Thursday, and we celebrated just about every birthday here. The area around this location may have changed over the decades, but somehow the food has stayed incredibly consistent. The pizza is fantastic, but the wings are truly unmatched. I can confidently say, after trying wings all over Arizona, Il Primo still has the crispiest and best wings in the state. Honestly, they could compete with wings anywhere in the country. What makes this place special is that even through the years and a few changes in ownership, they’ve kept the same traditions, flavors, and quality alive. That says a lot about this location and the people behind it. Every bite is bliss. P.S. Best Blue Cheese dip I have ever eaten as well.

It's a chill spot I love that I can get a personal pizza fries wings & a drink under 20$ when I 1st came here years ago I loved it so much & the cheese test was insane but I went again recently & it was a bit of a disappointment the marinara sauce was a bit off idk if the sauce was switched but it didn't taste the same as I remember & the cheese was fail on the cheese test but it's a great vibe the front desk & people are a vibe & would I go again of course The hospitality itself is wonderful great people

This is not great pizza....it is just pizza. If you need pizza go here, but its not great. Ths breadsticks were actually better.

I am writing to formally report an extremely serious and unacceptable experience I recently had with your staff. This situation should never have escalated to this level, and it originated from an error made by one of your employees. The issue began when a credit card transaction was incorrectly processed during a phone order. This mistake was entirely avoidable. Had the order been handled properly, none of the threats, harassment, or aggressive behavior that followed would have occurred. Regardless of the circumstances, there is no justification for the way your employees behaved. The employee who took my order failed to properly process my card and did not contact me to verify the transaction. As a result, I received no communication from the store. Your staff should have verified the order before sending it out for delivery. Instead, the issue was only addressed when the delivery driver arrived at my home, at which point the situation was handled in a completely unprofessional and unacceptable manner. The delivery driver verbally threatened and used abusive language toward my underage children over the unpaid order. I was forced to call the store myself to reprocess the payment while the driver continued to insult and harass my children. I later learned that he bragged about the incident to coworkers, demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. After the initial complaint was reported to the manager on duty, this driver should not have been allowed to continue making deliveries. When I contacted the store to report the incident, the cashier I spoke with was dismissive, rude, and made excuses for the driver rather than addressing the seriousness of the situation. When I visited the store in person to speak with a manager, the situation escalated further. The same delivery driver confronted me aggressively, got in my face, and threatened physical violence. Another employee joined in, yelling and using profanity, while a third employee escalated the situation physically by throwing pizza boxes at me and threatening to fight me. Given the severity of this incident, the employees involved—especially the delivery driver and the individual who threw items at me—should have been terminated immediately. I was later informed that they only received a write-up, which is entirely inadequate considering the threats, harassment, and aggressive behavior displayed toward both myself and my children. After more than 20 years as a loyal customer, I am shocked and deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism and respect demonstrated by your staff. What should have been a simple transaction turned into a serious and unsafe situation that has completely undermined my trust in your business. Given the extreme nature of this incident, I am requesting direct contact from upper management or corporate leadership. I expect a thorough investigation into this matter, along with clear communication regarding the actions being taken to ensure this behavior is never repeated. This should include appropriate and meaningful consequences for the employees involved. I will be expecting a response from the owners as soon as possible regarding their termination before this escalates even further than what it should.

Oh my gosh, what FANTASTIC food. I was having a horrible day, and wanted to relax for a few minutes during my lunch break, and get some food. I bought the wing and mini pizza lunch special. I wish I took a before picture, but man, oh man, this was great !! Thanks for helping to make my day better.

This is the absolute best pizza and wings in Arizona. I went on a binge searching for the best in az a few years ago and I gave up after I found IL PRIMOS 😂 there’s no better. Classic pizza great crust. Fresh ingredients you can taste. No weird fancy shit. Amazing wings every time. The service is always quick and pleasant. Atmosphere is hole in the wall pizzeria goodness. Lots of tvs playing the sports games and other stuff. Great hours too! Love you guys so much

I love the pizza & the vibes of this place. Haven’t had one complaint since I started coming here. 10/10 recommend for a chill spot & good food.

Went to try their lunch specials and was very impressed. The prices and options were very reasonable. The food was good, the service was fast, and they have specials available all week not just during lunch. I will definitely be back again soon.
