After being closed for almost a year, the famous Phoenix Steakhouse is back open and better than ever! The inside still has the same feeling as the original restaurant but has been upgraded to give an even more elevated experience. Perfect restaurant to go to for a special occasion, you will be blown away by the great service and amazing food.
We started with the meatballs & calamari. The meatballs were served with the chefs vodka sauce which was delicious. We also shared a Caesar salad, the perfect option for a light starter. I tried both the filet and the NY Strip, the petite filet was the winner to me and extremely tender. Every side we ordered was great, one of the best loaded baked potatoes that I’ve had!
We were in town for leisure and got recommended this place by a few locals. Snag a reservation for late Saturday night. I’ve been to steakhouses and I’ve been to upscale restaurants, but I have never felt more like family at an establishment.
The food! Phenomenal!!!!! the service outstanding!!!! atmosphere100000000/10! From the handwritten anniversary note to the attention to detail all the way to the FOLLOW UP PHONE CALL the next day to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!!!!
I will be back! And this will always be on my itinerary!!!
Food was absolutely amazing! Went for my husbands 30th birthday. Fried deviled eggs were delicious, both steaks were cooked perfectly with wonderful seasonings. Added the crab cake Oscar to one and truffle butter to the other. Sides were also delicious. It was a wonderful experience with wonderful service. My only negative is the price, which of course, it’s durants, the price wasn’t a surprise by any means. I just don’t know if it’s worth $400 for two people. It was a wonderful experience though! Definitely going for a special occasion.
Absolutely fantastic. Old school Steakhouse. Top notch service. Everything is fresh and beautifully prepared. Best for really special occasions. Their Scalloped potatoes are so delicious.
Seafood flown in daily. Your meal ends with your waiter giving you a very warm Lavender infused wash cloth to freshen up. Epic!

★★★★★we had a great experience last night for my birthday dinner! thursday 9pm reservation was perfect for us! the service COLE provided was impeccable! he didn’t rush us, he was there with a smile every time he approached us, he gave us the history on the restaurant, and he made sure we had a great first experience. the restaurant was so kind to hand write a letter for our birthday occasion. we can’t wait to come back and just enjoy sitting at the bar for some martini’s. Love that Durant’s has kept their old fashioned supper club vibe even for lunch! Spendy but portions are large and leftovers will be another 1-2 meals so definitely worth it. Photos say it all in food & drink quality…absolutely superb and a must do when in PHX!
EXTRA MILE: we celebrated 2 birthdays and each was given a nice handwritten card AND the following day we received a phone call asking if everything was up to par and thanking us for dining with them.
Never been to Durants before. My husband wanted to go for his birthday. So glad we did. Excellent service! The steaks were amazing! Great place for special occasions. They brought him out a dessert, as well as a card. Couldn't have been more pleased. Definitely will return!
Visited Durant's while visiting from New York and absolutely loved the experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere, service, and food were exceptional. The steaks were perfectly cooked, the staff was attentive and welcoming, and the restaurant vibe made the night feel special. Definitely a must-visit spot in Arizona, we will absolutely recommend it to friends and family visiting Phoenix!
