We’ve been eating here for years and have always loved the food. I’m finally leaving a lower review as a plea for the mashed potatoes. It’s always been a staple for our order but lately it seems they have crossed it with a soup recipe. There is no potato texture left, it’s loaded with cream, and there’s a non-zero chance it was reconstituted from a bag. I hope they figure it out because they exceed on so many other levels!

I came in for a solo dinner. I stood by the door to be sat down and the lady at the front didn’t acknowledge me, she was cleaning the menus. A couple walked in behind me and she immediately greeted them as I was still standing there and they opted to sit at the bar. Then she went back to cleaning the menus. That wasn’t a good first impression for me. I spoke to her to ask her for a table for one. I had the pleasure of having Ben. No complaints there. He was great and attentive. I ordered the rotisserie chicken entree, the truffle mushroom pizza and the warm butterscotch cake. The overall meal was ok. Nothing I would come back for considering some of the misses. The rotisserie chicken smelled weird and it had a strange taste to it. Off-putting. I don’t know what it was about it. I couldn’t continue eating it. Before i ordered that particular dish , I asked where the chicken was sourced and I was told it was from a farm and not commercial. Now, the mashed potatoes and the broccolini that came with it, Fantastic!! . Especially the mashed potatoes. It was so smooth and buttery. The highlight for me for the night. The crust on the pizza was also great. The smoked cheese on the pizza felt heavy for me. Especially once the pizza cooled down. I did like the balance of the flavor and taste on the pizza. I was really disappointed with my dessert. It was delicious if I am only judging by the taste. However a huge miss on the temperature and texture. The menu said warm cake, it didn’t show up as that. And something was off with the gelato it came with. It was very stringy. Perhaps the temperature the gelato is being kept at is off. Getting a spoon of the cake and the gelato without the opposing warm and cold temperatures did not create for a pleasant sensory experience for me. In addition I found it interesting to be charged for the sauce I chose for the chicken entree. It was presented as , you can pick a sauce from the 3 options we have. I went with the lemon garlic per Ben’s recommendation. It was yummy.

Phoenix has some great food options. Stopped by for dinner and was not disappointed. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping in. They are known for pretty good pizza too. I’ll have to try that next time.

The vibes here are spot on—warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us like old friends, and our server had us laughing the whole time (seriously, the best vibe check ever). The pizza? Absolutely delicious. But the real surprise star of the night was the Ingredient Salad. The mix of flavors was next level, and those sweet potatoes added the perfect touch. Trust me, you have to try it—it might just become your new favorite dish.

I had a great experience at Doughbird. The food was amazing and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The pizza was delicious and the rotisserie chicken was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the visit. It’s a great place to go with friends or family, and I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a good meal and great service!

The pizza was good, the chicken was weird. I'll take a Costco rotisserie chicken over this one any day. The chicken wings were ok, but they were very fatty. We asked for crispy, but the fat on the wings was super chewy. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were very good. Lots of butter, garlic, and a hint of lemon.

This place is always 10/10! Fantastic service and atmosphere and the food is even better!! The rotissery chicken with lemon garlic sauce is the way to go! Pizza and salad are a must! The truffle cheese bread is a must to start! Ben is the best! Sit in his section!

Its a nice place. Pizza is giid and the rotisserie chicken has a good taste to it. We also had the wings (one flavor) but they were my 2nd favorite part. It came with an interesting horseradish ranch which I enjoyed. It was diff and unexpected. Now lets get to the star of the show. Butterscotch fluffy cake with ice cream. If you go and don't get this you failed your night out. It's hot, fresh, moist, fantastic flavor and the edges have a great crunch. Go get it and come and thank me. And you are welcome. My only real disappointment was asking for a side of ranch to go. I cost a dollar. Not a big deal but wish I had known and I really really wish she had told me it was regular I wanted to try more of the ranch with the wings. But other than that the service was great. Place is nice and clean and very open you can see the entire place from anywhere.
