Dental on Central

Very happy with Dental on Central as my new dental provider. Dr.Herro and staff are as committed to my Dental health and smile as I am. He is friendly, very informative, clear and a straightforward communicator and LISTENED patiently to my concerns. I value that in a provider. My hygienist Michelle did an excellent job! Very satisfied with my care.

I was referred to this dental office by a provider I trust, so I expected a professional and compassionate experience. What I encountered instead was the complete opposite. I called to schedule treatment under sedation, as I have multiple dental issues I’ve been putting off and was finally ready to address. The receptionist immediately asked about my insurance. When I explained my coverage, she told me they don’t accept it. I calmly explained that wasn’t an issue and that I planned to pay out of pocket. Despite that, she refused to schedule an appointment. When I asked to speak with a manager and requested her name, she told me there was no one else available, refused to identify herself, and then placed me on hold indefinitely until I eventually hung up. The interaction was dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly concerning. There was no attempt to help, no explanation, and no basic level of respect. What makes this especially troubling is how this office presents itself publicly. They advertise specialized care for patients with high anxiety, autism, and other special needs, and emphasize compassionate, supportive treatment - including sedation for comfort. Based on my experience, that messaging does not align with how I was treated. If this is the level of care patients receive before even being seen, it raises serious concerns about how vulnerable patients are actually supported. I would strongly encourage others, especially those who are anxious or seeking a more compassionate environment to consider this carefully before choosing this office.

Oh My Goodness!!! I cannot even explain how terrified I have been of the dentist. Unfortunately this resulted in not going for a long time, and my teeth suffered. I finally took the first step today in getting my dental routine back on track. The hygienist who took X-rays and an exam on my teeth was extremely kind and made me feel so at ease and Dr. Herro was so helpful and non judgmental. I Thank you both!! If I could give this clinic negative stars I would. Their lack of empathy and patient care is astounding. The staff is uninformative and unwilling to address future patients in a non-condescending manner. The office manager literally only came out to delegate when I mentioned reaching out to Mercy Carr Liason. I will never forget how the staff made my 11 year old daughter feel. Shame on them.

The entire experience was amazing! They made my daughter feel comfortable and at ease. The anesthesiologist was absolutely #1!!

Dr Hero and Dr Waters are the best. Our daughter is special needs and going to the dentist has always been very stressful and traumatic for her and us. Since changing to Dental on Central it has changed 360 degrees. My daughter is not scared and the level of care is fantastic. Dr Waters is so kind and caring and tells you every step. This practice is a godsend to anyone with a disability or fear. I highly recommend their services.

The service is good. If I had a problem with the dental assistant. We had to use the wheelchair to take out the client to the van. She cling on to it like we were going to steal it. Also she asked for the blanket the client was using because she was cold. Which we're going to be giving back. I didn't like the way she seemed like we're going to steal it. Not only did she do that once but twice on two separate appointments.

All of the staff are incredible. My son is Autistic and suffers from severe anxiety when visiting any medical professional. But the staff here make him feel comfortable and safe. We won’t take him anywhere else!
