Chompie's Restaurant, Deli, and Bakery

This place is a fantastic deli straight from a New York style deli with fresh bagels breads, and a large menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am disappointed though not to see chicken schnitzel on the menu nor latkes. I brought chicken noodle soup to the hospital for my friend who just got out of surgery. I like the vibe here and the cleanness of it. The restroom signage is fabulous too! 😆

We tried Chompies for the first time today. First, let me say it was hard to not order everything on the menu. The sandwiches were piled high with meat. They were delicious. The bagels had a wonderful chewy texture just like a New York bagel ahould be. They make their own cream cheese and we had a sampler of 4 of them. They were all amazing! The original had a great texture, the honey walnut was my favorite, the honey was light and the walnuts were a nice texture, the garden veggie was a light flavor and not over powering, it was lovely. The almond strawberry was nice, though I don't love almonds, The flavor was spot on. The service was just right. We were there at 2:15 so the lunch crowd was leaving and it was a perfect environment. I ordered a toasted marshmallow coffee after our meal and it was a perfect ending. The caramel was a little strong for me and I would order a shot of espresso in it next time but that is just my preference. If you want a New York style deli and bagels this is your place. The market attached to the restaurant has all kinds of goodies from bagel and cream cheese to a large assortment of desserts. We tried a cream horn and eclaire. Both were amazing and left you wanting another 😊

IMHO, this is the best NYC style deli this side of the Rockies. The sandwiches are huge. The corned beef rueben was moist and tender and had the perfect amount meat-to-fat ratio.

These are easily the best bagels I have ever tasted. I have tried bagels in major cities across the country, and nothing compares to these. They are fresh, perfectly textured, and full of flavor. The cashier was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the visit even better.

Bakery and restaurant! I was sold added bonus was my new york Yankees!! My mom took me here after my dad passed and he liked it here being that he was from New York. I must've ordered everything in the bakery. Mom had the pastrami and I had a slider. Food was great, staff was wonderful and the atmosphere was my heart.

Decided to try the meat pastry and it was good despite the odd texture (I am a texture eater so don’t let this deter you).. The biggest thing I have to say is how incredibly friendly the staff was. Not just my waiter, but all three that were present were wonderful people checking in with good banter. I usually enjoy eating alone, but they certainly kept good company

Being a Brooklynite - Chompies had to be on my list! Yesterday I had a late lunch there. Nicole was our server. 5 stars for her!!! She is freidly & certainly knowledgeable. I ordered a vanilla egg cream... not on the menu. She knew exactly what it was & it was in front of my post-haste! The mile high corned beef reuben was amazing! tender & delicious. Great atmosphere - especially if you're from NY! Memorabilia everywhere - you can walk around and feel nostalgic! We also stopped & got some delicious cookies to take home. Thank you Chompie's!!!!

Mildly inattentive service, but when they were around it was a very pleasant experience. Bagels, as always, were amazing. French toast was amazing. Burger was perfectly prepared. Matzo ball soup was delicious. Buffalo chicken sandwich was flavorful and the bun was soft and toasted perfectly. I love this place. Lifelong customer
