A True Gem in the Community! Boycott Bar has quickly become one of my absolute favorite places in Phoenix. As a queer single woman, finding a space that feels truly safe, welcoming, and fun means everything — and Boycott nails it every time. The vibe is always upbeat, friendly, and inclusive, and there’s this effortless sense of community that makes you feel like you belong the moment you walk in. One thing that really stands out to me is the security team. They strike the perfect balance between being approachable and professional — you can tell they’re there to protect everyone while still adding to the positive energy of the night. King, in particular, is phenomenal. Every time I’ve come, he goes out of his way to connect, greet guests with genuine warmth, and make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. He has this natural leadership quality — calm, confident, and respectful — that makes him an incredible example of what great security should be. Boycott isn’t just a bar — it’s a safe haven filled with love, laughter, and connection. Whether you’re going solo, with friends, or just need a space to unwind and be yourself, this is the spot.

Toni!!!!! He’s amazing and so sweet! I felt so safe and comfortable here. I came for my birthday and my group had an absolute blast! Music ✔️ drinks ✔️ atmosphere ✔️ vibes ✔️ don’t second guess this place! Bring your friends/family and have the time of your lives🏳️‍🌈

I was SO excited to come here and traveled a great distance only to find it randomly closed on a Tuesday night despite advertising otherwise. It was a huge bummer of a night and made me feel deceived. Edit to add reply to below: It’s okay! I understand. I guess next time if you’d consider posting the closure on your social channels that would be awesome. It could save anxious and newly out and excited people like me a lot of money, time, and effort. Being open the next day is irrelevant for someone visiting from afar for a brief time… Also: You’re right, one star was unwarranted but I was acting in anger. I don’t think it’s classy you added that in to your reply though. I support and appreciate the cause nonetheless.

Bartender says there’s a rule that they can’t give you a cup of ice. I just wanted a cup of ice for my water. Little Dixie cups and water are provided in the back but I can’t get a cup of ice? Anyways, I’m just here for the good music and good vibes. 🫶🏾

The music was not great. I got really bad vibes from the security they kept following us in and out of the bar. The male security guard even touched my waist to move me. I came here to be in a womens space and feel safe they did not do a good job. They said we were blocking the path but I was standing infornt of those sitting booths. Maybe they should move the booths. Anyways after a terrible hour that we paid for we went over to Stacy's with better music and food. Had a great time at Stacy's I suggest not paying to go into this club go to Stacy's. Side note the diva act in response to my concerns as a customer is not cute. I never asked for the bar to be changed for my vibe I asked for a Women safe space. I also ask for security to not be touching my waist.

So grateful spaces like this still exist. We were visiting from Maryland and were looking for a queer-friendly spot to enjoy a Friday evening. We had a wonderful night of dancing and community. Thank you!!

It was my first time there with my friends and we had a great time. I wish the music was a little bit better but we had an amazing time. The people there were great. The security was awesome. The bartenders knew exactly what they were doing with the drinks. I couldn't have been more happier with the outcome of the night

Favorite place to go weather its for shooting pool on a week night or turning up on a Saturday the vibes are always great warm welcoming and safe the drinks a decently priced compared to other bars and everyone is friendly the entertainment is unmatched from the dancers to the queens definitely a great space for LGBT
