Double Nickel Brewing Company

I was here in a weekday afternoon in late November. There was live music. There wasn’t a lot of people in there. It’s a very nice space. There’s one side that’s kind of more family oriented with games and such. There’s an upstairs area for special events. And then there’s the regular tap room space. Nice selection of beer. The beer was good. They also have food. You order at the bar and pick it up at the counter. Free parking. The entrance is basically on an offramp from the highway.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about our experience this past weekend! From start to finish, everything was handled so smoothly thanks to their new events coordinator, Ed. He was super responsive leading up to the event and made the entire day feel effortless. We had a party of 20 people, and while we didn’t need a large rental space, he was incredibly accommodating and graciously allowed us to use their private event area and preorder our pizzas. It was the perfect setup for what we needed. The kitchen staff absolutely crushed it! Our food came out quickly and everything was on point. Ed was also consistently checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, which we really appreciated. My fiancé and I have always loved coming here for the beers, but being able to host a smaller event here just solidified how amazing this place truly is. Huge thank you to Ed and all of the Double Nickel staff for making our day so special!

Double Nickel has many delicious styles of beer. I personally like ales, lagers, including pilsners, and stouts. They have a variety of these beers plus many IPAs, along with sours and seltzers, wine and mixed drinks, specialty cocktails. Besides all this they have very delicious pizza freshly baked in their large pizza oven, along with wings and all different kinds of sandwiches that are real tasty. They have grilled quality hot dogs and even have a good bratwurst sandwich. But most importantly, they have a very friendly group of people working there. I myself have experienced the goodness of these people, whether it be in conversation or caring for individuals. This is what makes a place really good! PS I like that it's kid friendly and also pet friendly. It adds a warm feeling to the place.

Had a great time here! They offer a wide variety of beers and every single one I tried was amazing. I recommend the Helles Yeah! The food is also amazing. The Hot Honey Wings were delicious!

Attended a bridal shower in a private upper loft overlooking the brewery's main room. Two other private events were on the main floor in different areas. The host was gracious enough to pay for a private bartender that served their own beer on tap, but I was disappointed that the wines were not from local wineries to support local. A tip jar was available. A musical duo was playing at the front of the stairs. The main space was very busy, and they are a pet-friendly establishment as a saw 2 dogs inside while there. There is also an outside patio. The hot pizza, salad, and charcuterie board were provided by the brewery. The desserts were provided by the host. The parking lot is just off Route 73 exit south to Route 130, so you have to mindful of entering/existing vehicles. Parking lot is not that big. Glad I was dropped off. There is a service charge when paying with a credit card, but not a debit card. Catering department needs to be more organized and let the manager on duty know the arrangements of the event. Makes paying for the event more efficient. Took pics of the event space for visual planning purposes.

To say that this brewery is amazing, is an understatement. I planned a baby shower for my daughter and worked with Brandon who was a great communicator and very accommodating for all my special requests. We rented the mezzanine space with a private bartender, and all of the guests were extremely happy to be in a private space that has a great vibe that allowed us to also enjoy the live music downstairs. Our bartender Tom, was extremely friendly and took care of all of our needs immediately. We will definitely be going back to enjoy the tasting room space downstairs with our growing family. I love that it is very much a family oriented establishment! If you are planning a private party, the mezzanine is a wonderful place to have it!

Was here for a private event on the 2nd floor. Great setup for a party with it's own private bar. There's a nice outside patio for nicer weather and large main bar area with ample space for live events. Didn't see a menu, but the provided pizza and bar apps were delicious. Definitely a great place to enjoy great beer.
