Clear the Air Cooling & Heating

I had a great experience with this company. Michael Schmidt was knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions and concerns. Here are a couple pictures after the install. You are in good hands with clear the air cooling and heating.

​UPDATE: The negligence of this company has now completely upended my entire home, impacted my livelihood, and exposed their outright dishonesty. ​Because Clear The Air left us stranded for days, the heat inside my home surged to a dangerous 91+ degrees. It has gotten so unbearably hot inside that my refrigerator is now unable to function properly, putting our food supply at risk on top of everything else. Furthermore, because I work from home, this hazardous environment has drastically interfered with my job and my ability to earn a living. ​After finally managing to force contact with them, their story suddenly changed. The solution went from "the part won't be here until Monday and there is nothing we can do" to "we will fix it early Saturday morning and reimburse your hotel costs." ​While I am glad a technician is finally coming, this sudden turnaround proves exactly what they are. Why wasn’t this hotel option or Saturday repair offered from the very beginning? I wholeheartedly believe I was being actively punished and deprioritized because I called them out on trying to charge me $3,000 for a covered warranty job. If they had the capability to fix my system on Saturday and protect my vulnerable family—including a disabled Vietnam Veteran, my disabled mother, and a toddler—why did they try to force us to suffer until Monday? ​I am writing and sharing these updates publicly because I am certain this isn't the first time they have done this, and it won't be the last. I have a platform and the ability to fight back, but many vulnerable people do not have the voice, the resources, or the means to speak up when they are being taken advantage of. Companies cannot be allowed to treat people this way. ​They only care when they get caught or when you threaten legal action. The stress, the disruption to my remote work, and the damage to my home appliances were entirely preventable. ​I am still moving forward with formal complaints to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and the Attorney General. This level of manipulation and neglect is unacceptable. Avoid them at all costs.

It’s difficult to find people you can trust, especially as a first time home buyer. We met Angelo a few years back through a different company and he has helped us out tremendously with our prior AC problem. Naturally, when our AC encountered another issue this time around, I knew exactly who to call. Angelo is professional, honest, thorough, and doesn’t try to upsell extra services. Overall we’ve had a great experience working with Angelo and with Clear the Air. Scheduling was very easy over the phone. Jeff was friendly and polite in helping us with booking the appointment.

Having your AC break down is always stressful (especially in the middle of summer 😭), but Robert and the “Clear The Air” team made the entire repair process completely seamless. From the initial phone call to the completed fix, their communication was top-notch. The technician arrived right on time, diagnosed the issue quickly but carefully, and took the time (sat down!) to explain everything clearly without trying to upsell me on unnecessary parts. They were extremely respectful of our home, transparent about the costs, and double-checked the system's performance before leaving to ensure everything was running efficiently. In fact they scheduled a QC visit about 24 hours after the work was complete to make sure we were satisfied 100%. Honest, professional, and thorough—I couldn't ask for better service. They’ll definitely be my first call for any future HVAC needs!

Great experience all around! I had an appointment booked the next morning after calling and even got a call back when a timeslot opened up day of. Jacob Fletcher inspected my AC and cleaned the piping quickly and professionally. He was knowledgeable, personable, and took the time to answer my questions. As a bonus, he was very friendly with my cats, which I really appreciated haha. Highly recommend Clear the Air!

First time using Clear the Air. Had them come out to check unit out. Was very impressed with our technician, Michael. He was super knowledgeable and extremely friendly and helpful. Did not try to up sell like some other companies we've used I'll definitely call them for my next service call

Angelo Sanchez recently performed a tune-up on my AC system, and I was extremely impressed with his professionalism, honesty, and transparency. He took the time to explain the condition of the system and provided valuable insight into previous work that had been done. His willingness to be upfront and educate us was greatly appreciated.
