We were surprisingly delighted at this little zoo! Just a fun variety of animals. The caretakers do a great job with upkeep of the zoo and care of the animals. Being from Michigan, it's always fun to see birds and other animals that need the warmer climate. There were so many different kinds of birds and monkeys, we lost track! Super fun watching the flamingos strutting their stuff, and, of course, there were tons of alligators. I highly recommend this zoo for kids and adults alike!

Even though it was hot (in June), we could overlook this because it was extremely interactive and fun for my 6 and 3 year olds. The bird dome was amazing (birds perch on your shoulders/hats, chaotic yet hilarious), the alligators eat the gator biscuits, the goats/farm animals are funny and love their treats, and I had never fed a giraffe lettuce before. I recommend getting the combo feeding bucket to feed all the animals. All the animals are adorable and well cared for. No neglected animals/areas. Would go again! 100 times better than a standard zoo where you can only look from a far distance.

We were looking for something other than the beach to do when we came across Zoo World. It was really neat and honestly exceeded our expectations. It is smaller than your typical "zoo", but still a good size and you get to see the animals more up close. There are kangaroos, capybaras, tapirs, ring tailed lemurs, various monkeys, reptiles & birds, porcupines, hyenas, alligators, a tiger, a giraffe, and flamingos. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few other things as well. There is also a petting zoo area where you can pet goats, a pony, donkey, llama and deer. You can purchase food to feed these animals as well. You can also buy gator food to feed the alligators, and lettuce to feed the giraffe. They have experiences where you can interact with and pet some of the animals. We did not do this during our visit, but we saw another family doing an interaction with the tapirs that looked really neat We spent between 1-2 hours here, strolling leisurely and feeding the animals. Our family enjoyed it and we look forward to visiting next time we are visiting PCB!

we were down here on vacation and we had the BEST time!! my friends and i did the sloth and tapir encounters and it was absolutely amazing!! Savannah did our encounters and she was such a gem. we all loved how bubbly and sweet she was. the tapir encounter was so amazing, it was so great learning about the animals. savannah wanted to see my tapir pics so please let her know about this review!!!

This was a great place to take the whole family. From 10 to 60 we all had fun feeding the giraffe, goats deer, horse, alligators, and birds. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable! Facilities were clean.

We decided to take our toddlers to zoo world and it was by far the best zoo. Some reviews said older kids wouldn’t like it, I think that’s wrong. This is for all ages: there is so much to be seen and done here. Worth every penny! We had a large family go only 2 were kids and every adult said how awesome this place was. It will definitely be a place we come back to every time we come to pcb! What a cool fun place! Definitely buy the food package it was like $22 I think and we got to feed so many animals!

We visited Zoo World on a weekday in March and there was a line to get in that took about 20–30 minutes. Once we reached the counter, getting tickets was quick, and we were able to buy food to feed the animals. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by kangaroos, and we thought the layout was perfect for walking around and seeing all the exhibits. There were lots of animals we got to feed, including a giraffe, goats, baby deer, and parakeets. It was such a fun experience interacting with the friendly animals. The gift shop had cute plushies and a penny crusher, which was a nice addition to our collection. We stayed a little over two hours and would definitely recommend this zoo!

Say what you want about the size of this park, the crew does the most with what they have. We are always impressed with how the animals are cared for and always seeing new enrichment features in the enclosures. Today we decided to do the Tapir experience and even though we talked about her name I can’t for the life of me remember but it was KatieJane or something similar. Very informative through the whole experience and would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting to get a little closer to some of the bigger residents of the park.
