This was a really special place to visit while in Palm Springs, especially if you are a plant or nature lover! It was impeccably kept and super calming to walk through. They had different types of succulents and botanicals from around the world and showed some pretty unique species. I especially liked the cactarium, it was fun to see how the different cacti grow, and there was a nesting hummingbird inside. The staff also seemed to love their jobs and enjoyed talking about the plants and sharing cool information about what was there. I definitely would recommend visiting while in Palm Springs, it's a bit tucked away, but totally worth going!!!

Really neat garden tucked away with some wonderful plants and fun surprises peppered in their modest space. If you love succulents and cacti this is a gem of a place to visit

Amazing garden, so well kept. If you can, take the free docent tour. Our guide was Janet, a master gardener, who provided the right level of details and interesting information. Such a great way to spend an hour or two exploring the flora of the region. The cactus are so pretty!

Fun to see all the varieties of cacti and succulents. Loved talk to the owner whose father founded the gardens.

I visited this botanical garden earlier this year while I was in palm springs. Its not very big but is worth the visit if you like gardens and desert plants. The admission price is reasonable and they even have a couple of large tortoises and a historic home on the grounds. The location is convenient and I was able to walk their from my air bnb. If would have a little free time, its worth the visit.

The kind of small botanical gardens packing a punch! Apropos, to the thrift of being a desert species and synergy of the botanical creator of this garden, you will find many established species in a highly dense and compact area. Which is rare, inherent to the typical nature of ecotypes with minimal water and soil resources. Being a personal home originally, the parking is a little vague as well as the intention of venue creation, retail, and/or botany; whichever way, it’s magnificent and worth the stop. The numerous sun and shade spots offer a number of places to sit and hold hands or reflect alone. The shear wonder of photosynthesis alone could be worth a lifetime of contemplation, beyond one’s own hominid molecular biology!

Wow! What a beautiful gem in the desert. Every year, for our wedding anniversary, we go to a different botanical garden from around this country. They have all been amazing, but this one is the best one yet. We met Clark Moorten, the owner and curator of the estate, and he was the kindest, sweetest, most knowledgeable man we have ever encountered. We never really imagined visiting a desert themed garden, full of so many varieties of cacti & succulents, as well as, birds and tortoises. Despite the high heat of summer (110 degrees F), it was still such an eye opening experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, if you enjoy botanical gardens.
