This winery has a relaxed setting with a front room, back room, and a bar where you can enjoy a tasting flight (5 pours for $15) or just get a glass. They also have a lot of interesting wine-related games and books scattered around, which makes for a fun, casual atmosphere.
The hospitality and service here were absolutely superb. While the wines themselves were just okay, this is definitely the better option out of the two wineries located in Pahrump. It's a good place to stop by, but really only if you already find yourself in the area.
Stopped by today for our first visit. We were excited to do some wine tasting. Unfortunately it wasn’t available during this time. Although we were bummed out, we made the best out of our visit and had the best customer service experience! Sydney was super sweet, extremely friendly and welcoming. She was the only reason why we stayed and enjoyed a glass of wine. We will definitely come back once tours are happening! Thank you Sydney for your superb service..you rock!!
One of a kind! The hostes was so nice and kind. Tasting and dinner were for very good price. We had 5 different wines all of them were very good. Bites were fresh and satiafying and worked great with the wine. The view outside is amazing
This marks our third visit overall. We used to love coming here back when it was Pahrump Valley Winery; the wines were excellent, and the restaurant was a highlight. Sadly, the restaurant (old name: Symphony's) remains closed and "coming soon," even after years of waiting. Please note that the newest owners had just purchased last year and they are expecting reopening the restaurant under a new name extremely soon. For those hoping for the old favorites: many items from the previous menu, including that legendary infused lobster bisque (one of a kind!), won't be returning, as confirmed by staff.
That said, the current focus is on wine sales, tastings, guided tours, and building great memories. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience enjoyable. We ended up purchasing three bottles to take home.
Just a heads-up: the wine tasting fee isn't waived even if you buy bottles afterward.
Overall, it was a solid outing with promising new offerings. We're hopeful the restaurant reopens someday, but in the meantime, Charleston Peak Winery (the rebranded spot) is worth the drive for wine lovers!
I love this place... yeah, even with the restaurant gone. Their smaller menu has some nice choices. Their pizza is top notch. I love their panini sandwich. I ordered one to go, got it home, and it's burned. I guess I should have looked at it before I left, but why would anyone think this was acceptable to give to a customer?
Charleston Peak Winery is a great place ro go when in Pahrump! Their wines are very good, I am partial to their red blends, white Symphony, and Chardonnay. They do offer sandwiches and appetizers, the cheese board was fantastic, especially paired with the wine tasting! Bree was our Sommelier and she is extremely knowledgeable and interesting, best wine descriptions I have ever heard! A very enjoyable experience and I love their label!!!
Great wine and chocolate pairing experience! High end tasting experience at a great price. The restaurant has not reopened fully yet, but they have a nice tasting food and wine menu. Staff were very knowledgeable and attentive. Wine and chocolate were both high quality.
We absolutely had a great time and amazing tasting experience. The snack were delicious, especially olives. The territory is very cute, the hosts are very welcoming.
