As a new member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the LDS Bookstore has been such a blessing. There have been so many things I’ve wanted and needed as I’ve grown closer to God, and it’s been wonderful having one place where I can find meaningful books, scriptures, jewelry, gifts, and other items to support my faith. The website is easy to use, the products are beautiful, and I especially love the option to personalize items with engravings. Every purchase has felt special and has helped me feel more connected to my journey with Christ. Thank you for creating such a thoughtful and uplifting store!

Visitor notes
Beautiful leather, but truly awful craftsmanship for the price. My wife ordered a set of their “premium” custom scriptures as a Christmas gift for me and a set for my mother-in-law for a total of $689.78. She thought they were going to be very nice gifts. The leather itself is soft and the colors are nice, but almost everything about the actual workmanship is a serious downgrade compared to standard scriptures from Deseret Book. On my navy set: - The name stamping is shallow, soft, and partially smeared. The “er” at the end of our last name is so faint it’s hard to read. - The spine titles on both triples are visibly crooked. It just looks like they were stamped at an angle and shipped anyway. - The Bible has a line of glue stuck across the gold page edges that marred the gilding and doesn’t rub off. - The leather spine of the Bible is already separating and gapped away from the pages. - The leather cover itself isn’t centered on the text block, so the pages sit visibly off-kilter inside the cover. - The inner cover page that’s glued to the final page is crooked on both the Bible and the triple. I’m literally holding my son’s standard black scriptures from Deseret Book while I write this, and those less expensive, off-the-shelf leather scriptures are significantly better built than these very expensive “premium” ones. If I had seen this exact set sitting on a shelf, with glue on the pages, crooked spines, and off-center covers, I would never have picked them up. Especially not as Christmas gifts. Customer service was disappointing. When my wife reached out with photos, the response basically boiled down to “that soft, fuzzy imprinting is normal for that color” and they offered a small discount “for the inconvenience.” A minor discount does not fix crooked stamping, glue on the page edges, a separating spine, and misaligned covers on something that’s supposed to be a high-end, hand-crafted product. My wife even offered do drive down and drop them off to be repaired. They do not accept any kind of returns on customized scriptures, so if yours comes out bad like these did, tough luck, you gotta choke that down after spending nearly $700 of dollars on 2 sets of scriptures. The only honest selling point I can see for these is if you really want a specific color and you don’t care about the actual build quality. In our case, my wife had spent so much on them and felt so stuck with the purchase that she reluctantly gave them to me anyway and was embarrassed to do it. That’s not how a “premium” gift experience should feel. Everyone misses from time to time but LDS Bookstore should be embarrassed at their lack of resolution to obvious craftsmanship defects. See the pictures comparing to a standard black leather set from Deseret Book. I wish this were a glowing review, because the idea of beautiful leather scriptures is great. But based on what we received, I can’t recommend these to anyone.
I purchased my scriptures from LDS bookstore a little over a year ago and have loved them and enjoyed using them. Unfortunately, about a month ago they fell apart. I did follow the instructions to protect the spine when I first purchased the scriptures. I truly expected them to last a lifetime. Now I feel like I need to purchase new scriptures.
This LDS bookstore is fantastic! They have a large selection of scriptures and a wide variety of supplies that really support meaningful scripture study. From different scripture formats to study tools and accessories, everything is high quality and thoughtfully chosen. The store is well organized, and it’s easy to find exactly what you need. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking to deepen your study and want reliable, quality materials, this is definitely the place to go!
The bingo cards are beautiful! They are clear and easily distinguishable for younger children to be able to play. The checkout process was simple and the downloading was hassle free! After struggling to access and download my products on other sites, the process with LDSBookstore was such a relief!
I love this store and how it gives you free printables to see if you like them and then can donate if you do or donate the next time you download their things. Their store also has some great items I have purchased in the past. Highly recommend them!
I love Elisha and the young servant story and wanted to focus on that part of the lesson, but always like a coloring picture for the little ones. thank you!
Do not buy anything from these people. They have no idea how to run a business. I ordered two sets of scriptures not knowing they took as long as they did to get ready. Need to cancel the order and you can’t flipping get ahold of anyone and they straight up ignore your texts. It’s not a holiday and I’ve texted within business hours. My uncle went in there to talk to them for me because there’s literally no way to contact anyone. (I’m in Canada and was trying to get some scriptures ordered for Christmas, which by the way there’s no where on the website saying they are not doing orders for Christmas anymore) and he said it was two 19 year old girls just standing around doing nothing. A complete joke. I just want my money back, it was nearly $1000 Canadian and I’ve been ghosted. Merry Christmas to me.
