Scissortail Park

What a wonderful park! Absolutely amazing space, very well organized and well kept. Parking costs 2$ per hour and you can find lots all around. There is a beautiful lake with a path that goes around. You can even rent a boat and enjoy it. Plenty of options also for kids. However, the noise of the cars is unbearable. I hope in the future they will find a solution because it’s a shame to have such an amazing area with that noise.

You will not be disappointed with your trip to this park. Whether you are looking to enjoy one of the many activities of the park or just looking to take in the atmosphere of the park by sitting or walking there is something for everyone. Plan to stay a couple of hours or a return trip to be able to take in all that this park has to offer.

We have been to this area before but really enjoyed the scenery and pretty flowers around and in surrounding areas and plenty of benches and other stuff around to explore. We definitely enjoy this area alot ! :)

Nice park, especially on hot days. It has a pleasant open space, good areas for walking, and a relaxing atmosphere. A great place to spend time, enjoy the views, and take a break in Oklahoma City.

Something free to do with the kids. Plenty to see Playground for kids Food available in the area at a reasonable price Paddle boat available for rental 30min @$15 up too 4 People I believe Lock bridge not to far Recommend for you to also visit at night since the bridge lights up...

Great outdoor, play area don't have to worry about any drownings since it just sprays which is great but let the kids run out energy as well. Makes it convenient for a nap time right after we leave.

I like this park; it’s a great place for walking and playing with the kids, and it’s quite clean. In the summer, there is a large area with water for playing. I like it because if you arrive early, you can park nearby; there is plenty of free parking around the park.
