I am taken with this place. Particularly their dinner menu. The brisket Ruben sandwich on rye with Swiss cheese and sauerkraut is the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The potato salad is also spectacular. Big chunks of potato, sweet, and good onion/egg ratio. Brisket fries appetizer was perfectly cooked and packed with so many toppings. Mac and cheese is creamy and the salad is so refreshing with carrots, tomato, onion, and cucumber along with a ranch dressing I am assuming is homemade. One of my favorite places to eat.
Cool spot and good food, beer and bourbon options. Wings are amazing! I was disappointed with the brisket beef. I asked for moist but it was not moist at all and the server said that is all they had. They also put very little meat on the sandwich.

Stopped by on a whim last night and I’m so glad we did. Easy parking, friendly hostess, phenomenal server (Matt) and the food did not miss. Ordered the dry spicy-hot wings (bruhhhhh, award winning for a reason), an orange crush, brisket with collard greens and Mac and cheese, and the burnt tips on pilaf with their signature cornbread. Everything was excellent! They have a bar-side with high tops and a dining-side with tables and booths. Outside had stringed lights and I’m sure it’s a vibe when the weather is mild. Timing on drinks, app, and meals was perfect. Thanks yall. We’ll be back soon.
Cool little spot tucked back behind houses on a curvy road. Plenty of parking. The food was delicious and their homemade BBQ sauces are delicious! Ordered some food and beers. Waitress was very attentive and provided great recommendations. Highly recommend!
We decided to try Hide Away based on the many glowing online reviews, and unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the hype. I say “unfortunately” because there were a few positives. The wings appetizer was good and honestly saved the visit. However, the rest of the meal was disappointing. We ordered several sides, including the potato salad and mac & cheese, and both were very bland. We actually ended up adding our own seasoning when we got home. The baked beans and green beans were just okay—nothing memorable.
For our entrees, We ordered the ribs and the smoked chicken. Both were mediocre at best. The meat wasn’t terrible, but there was nothing about it that would make us want to return. I also ordered a slice of pecan pie to go. When I tried it the next day, I could only eat part of it before throwing the rest away. The filling had a thick, almost flour-like texture and the pie fell apart after only a few seconds in the microwave. It seemed like something was off with the recipe or preparation. (Photo attached.)
To make matters worse, our credit card was charged twice, creating an unnecessary inconvenience. Based on our experience, the food ranged from average to below average, with the wings being the only standout item. Given the prices and the overwhelmingly positive reviews, we expected much more.
First off if you looking for bbq this is not the place. We pulled up to no available parking and a fullish restaurant so I was expecting everything would be good. I circle the lot a few times before finding someone coming out. 15min wait for table. We ordered appetizers and drinks they forgot to bring the wings. The entrees start arriving in tell the waiter the wing never came he for some reason boxes them and doesn't bring them until the end of the meal. They also forgot one of our entrees. That came to the table late. Don't waste your time on the bbq sampler. The pulled pork and brisket were dry and un seasoned, not smoked and ribs might have been the only good thing on the plate. We didn't even stop to complain we were just ready to go and doubt we will be back.
I’ve been here multiple times. I have never been disappointed. This is a local gem. The food is fantastic. It’s always loud but that’s just the environment. Perfect for a lowkey date, family night, midday lunch. They have events going on throughout the week check their socials for what they have going on. The service has always been great and attentive.
