Chicago Gaelic Park

The venue is great, the food was terrible. We used the larger ballroom for an event, which is nice. Here is what spoiled the experience for us. - one of the bar keepers was extremely rude and seemed to be in a bad mood all evening - the vegan / vegetarian food options were awful. We had a table of 10 marked as vegan. There was butter on the table, one of the salad dressings had dairy, the main dish was pasta primavera. It was primarily pasta with a few slices of vegetables and a sprinkle of tomato sauce. We had inquired ahead of time to find ways to make the vegan experience more enjoyable. They would not deviate the slightest from their standard. To top it all off, the dessert was dairy based ice cream, no vegan option! I challenge the management to imagine putting what they offer for vegan/vegetarian in front of the entire room. Why do you treat the vegan community as second class citizens, while charging the same amount for the meal?

I’ve came to Gaelic Park for multiple different events and have had nothing but GREAT experiences! For one of the most recent events I’ve attended, we had Erika as the event coordinator and she was amazing! Everything went beautiful and was perfectly organized. Along with the very kind bartender Kathleen, who was very very nice and great to have conversation with. I’ve also had Renee a few times as my bartender and she was great, and is always going out of her way to ensure everyone is taken care of. I couldn’t ask for better, or more genuine service from the entire staff. Thank you Gaelic Park, I can’t wait to return soon!

Beautiful place, friendly staff, very accommodating. We had our luncheon here after my brothers memorial mass and were very pleased with how everything turned out. Delicious food, great drinks. We would definitely recommend this place for future events.

Such a beautiful place! The atmosphere is great! Outside bar is huge and so well done. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The outside tent was comfortable and there was an AM 560 free event going on. They have live music here as well. Plenty of parking available with easy access. There are a few areas to check out and the entire venue is clean and well kept.

It was our first visit, we were there for a wedding reception. It's a very nice facility, clean and well kept. The staff were super friendly and the food we had was very good. It's a great place for any type of get together.

They were holding a fundraiser. And I am so glad that me and my husband went I had such a great time we got to ride a horse. And my husband was not too bad in the roping. It was a great time I will definitely come back. And there's plenty of parking even handicap parking fun for the kids and family.

I can confidently say that Chicago Gaelic Park is a great place to celebrate your big day. Are there great places to take wedding party and couples portraits close by? Check (see accompanying images). Once you arrive, the venue and staff are just fantastic, accommodating, and fun. They care about their couples. The couples are given the 5 star experience and not treated like just another client. The space has great acoustics, nice decor and overall just a great setting for a wedding.
