So beautiful and so worth it! Be prepared for stairs and more stairs but around every corner is a breathtaking view. Fun caves to climb and scramble through with each having a board to explain how to go through the cave with a map. Yes some are very tight and not for the feint of heart but also so much fun. The kids around us were having a blast. Make sure to do the nature trail for the suspension bridge, treehouse, bear and nature carvings and big birds nest.

Went yesterday with my son for the first time ever and it was absolutely beautiful. The entire atmosphere is magical, the gift shop was reasonably priced I think and they had very nice staff that explain the trail well. Definitely going back again before the end of summer. Worth every penny.

I was surprisingly surprised how well-maintained and what a value this place is. While on our visit we saw two girls sweeping debris off of the walkway. We saw two people putting new no skid strips on. There is some beautiful scenery and super safe and easily walk. I didn't go in all of the caves (some I was too big for) but the ones I did were very well marked and very safe. I would highly recommend this place to anybody who is passing through and wants a fun few hours.

Amazing! Truly a 'not miss' destination. It's the safest way I know of to explore a forest on your own. Lots of caves and waterfalls at your disposal. We were here May 2026 and it was $25 each - worth every penny!

This was such a great adventure! My 10 year old was in heaven and the entire experience was so much fun. Be ready to crawl, squeeze, and climb your way through the boulder caves along this magnificent boardwalk.

A fun day of exploring. A boardwalk with entrances to several caves which are optional. Waterfalls, boulder formations such as the wolf and views of the valley as well as a forest loop are extra bonuses. Lots of stairs. Beautiful day.

Wonderful trail safe and very walkable the Gorge waterfalls and caves were abundant and my 12-year-old had so much fun going in each of them and reporting back. I love the info panel on each area of the gorge.

The experience at Lost River Gorge was incredible: walking, climbing up and down stairs, passing between the large rocks that form a kind of cave, easily accessible, with different levels of difficulty, and the most attractive part being the waterfall.
