Absolutely loved these gardens. We'll maintained, clean, unique and beautiful. Many walking paths and trails. Some paved, some gravel, some grass, etc. Fun for all ages. Approx $26pp for adults. Price includes access to narrated train rain around the property. Clean restrooms, gift shop, etc.

I enjoy all things outdoors, and my first visit to the Botanical Garden was for a friend’s wedding. I loved it so much that I purchased a family membership plan afterward. The gardens are beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. I especially enjoy visiting with my dogs and riding my bike through the grounds. The children’s area is fantastic, with plenty of hands-on learning tools, interactive exhibits, and water play features that keep kids engaged while they learn and explore. It’s a great place for families to spend quality time together. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing day alone, a fun family outing, or a place to connect with nature, this garden has something for everyone. Highly recommended! 🪴⛲️🐞💓👍🏾

It’s such a wonderful garden! Very big, always finding new areas! Beautiful and looks different every time I go through the seasons. Annual Membership is absolutely worth it! Getting a map is key, you can spend hours there going on the smaller paths and finding new different bench’s to have a break on. The trolly ride helps you see even more, and is very informative, as they give commentary of its history and flora and fauna (runs through the summer season). Gift shop is lovely and members get 10% off. They also have different shows/ sales throughout the year like orchid- always spectacular. Facilities are good, toilets at 3 different areas in the garden. And water filling at the main entrance. Butterfly garden runs for a couple months and the staff / volunteers are always so helpful and informative. Also it offers classes and evening events through the summer. Well worth visiting!

I loved this garden so much. We were here for over 3 hours and still didnt see it all. Price is perfect and Incudes the butterfly house. We could not make the tram as it was filled every time we tired to go on. Thay need a bigger one or more times as you do miss out on that experience. Over all perfect aside from that and staff was very kind!

I was so pleasantly surprised by the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. When looking up things to do in the area, these gardens were mentioned, but what wasn’t mentioned was how large the gardens are, and the true beauty of every section of the gardens. My friends and I came for my birthday and we were so impressed and it was so beautiful and we learned so much from Alana, our tram guide about the history of the Botanical Gardens. She was so knowledgeable, it was truly impressive! From the rose garden, to the enchanted forest, and EVERYTHING in between, I definitely want to go back and bring family because of how beautiful it was.

I had an amazing time visiting the Norfolk Botanical Garden. The garden was absolutely beautiful, especially with the cherry blossoms in full bloom—it felt peaceful, refreshing, and perfect for a spring day. One of the highlights of our visit was participating in the Cherry Blossom Scavenger Hunt. It was such a fun and interactive activity! Everyone stayed engaged while searching for the different trees, and it made exploring the garden even more exciting. It was a great way to keep the group involved while enjoying the scenery at the same time. The garden itself is very well-kept, with wide walking paths, stunning views, and plenty of space to relax and take everything in. The fields of bright yellow flowers added even more beauty to the experience. Overall, this was a wonderful outing filled with fun, learning, and relaxation. I would definitely recommend visiting, especially during the spring season—and don’t miss out on the scavenger hunt if they have it going on!

Beautiful place. The staff was very supportive. There is a combination of supported events and self paced viewing. If needed, there are electric vehicles available for the mobility challenged for a small fee.

We went to Norfolk Botanical Garden today to see the Corpse Flower. Luckily it was positioned outside and is not yet in full bloom, so there was almost no detectable odor. This is a great botanical garden, and it is special to be able to see such an impressive flower up close!
