Came to get my cat spayed and it was a very easy process. After checking in and talking with the doctor, I was told to come back between 4-5 (they close at 5) to pick her up. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The only downside is that you have to wait a few months for the appointment but besides that everything else went very smoothly.

I brought my baby Tuxi here to be spayed, and while it wasn’t easy for me emotionally because I hate seeing her vulnerable; the overall experience was positive. The whole crew was welcoming, professional, and took great care of her. They gave me a pickup timeframe, and although there was a small miscommunication when I arrived, the team still worked with me, made sure I received all the medications Tuxi needed, and got her back to me before closing. I did have to wait about 30 minutes because of that mix-up, but aside from that, everything went smoothly. Their pricing is very reasonable, especially for this area, and I truly appreciate the level of care they provided. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back again if Tuxi ever needs anything in the future or if I get another cat. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby.

This place is the best place to adopt pets. I live on the island I adopted my Rosie from them and I still come into the city for the vet. Nothing but the highest praise I could give this place. Sandra has been wonderful and her staff.Nothing but A+

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible care and compassion the Humane Society team showed me and my dog during his final hours. After a very difficult month managing his diabetes, Humane Society facility was a sanctuary for us. I am especially grateful that they took us in without an appointment and allowed my family the time to say their goodbyes . Having the space to grieve and receiving the beautiful mementos of his paw prints and hair clippings has meant the world to me. Thank you for making a devastating day a little easier to bear through your kindness. Had I only known about this place earlier, I would’ve brought Tiger sooner for his immediate medical care.

I just visited HSNY vet. Amazing experience. One of the best in NYC. It's been rather hard to find a vet in NYC. Going to HSNY was great. The clinic is new and very clean. The visit was on time--no endless waiting with other animals. The Dr. was informative. We were not upsold anything. And all this was at a great price. Highly recommended if you have the patience to get the first appointment. I want to support the HSofNY. Thank you!

I CANNOT THANK HEIDI ENOUGH!! I had been trying since January to schedule an echocardiogram for my cat before her spay, but my school schedule is crazy and made it extremely difficult. Heidi went above and beyond to fit me in on short notice and was super helpful with my cat's case. She was incredibly sweet and even took the time to introduce herself when I arrived. You are a gem!!!

I really wanted to like this place but I unfortunately can't leave a good review. The experience was great leading up to the surgery. They explained the process, everyone was very kind and respectful. The price was amazing. But upon picking up my dog after surgery, she was covered in feces and they didnt bother to clean her. This makes me think how many hours she was left to be in her own feces. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. I hope the rest of the dogs aren't treated this way in the back rooms.

Dr Huffman is great. But The front desk staff could use better customer service and professionalism. I came in respectfully for my dog’s follow-up appointment, but the interaction felt dismissive and uncomfortable. I also overheard a disrespectful comment while I was signing in. The care may be for pets, but the way owners are treated matters too.
