Awesome selection of grab-and-good fresh food options, including sushi, chicken, sandwiches, salads, wraps, many more. The bakery was impressive, as well as the $12.99/lb hot deli bar. Really glad we stopped and enjoyed the sushi, as well as fish, rice and broccoli. Enjoyed. The beer selection is also impressive of NY selections. I did not explore the grocery store, but it looked really good. Looks like an excellent spot for locals as well as tourists.

The Food Emporium is a reliable neighborhood grocery store with a great selection of fresh produce, pantry essentials, and prepared foods. The store is clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate. The staff is friendly and helpful, and checkout is usually quick and efficient. It’s a convenient place to shop for both everyday groceries and specialty items. Highly recommended!

This place is awesome! The hot bar upstairs has tons of great options and is very reasonably priced. Downstairs they have a truly outstanding beer selection, including a number of rare beers.

Thank you Food Emporium NYC!!! $50 Cake that was ready in one day- that absolutely stunned my partner and his friends on his birthday! Everyone said the cake looked amazing and it tasted great!!! Special thank you to Mildred and the bakery! I live local and they will now be my go-to for special occasion cakes! P.s. (added some decor of my own from home)

Don't know why folks are so negative. This place is abundantly stocked with groceries both for home and for quick grab hot meals. Not to mention, having all of this great inventory steps away from times Square. As a frequent NYC visitor, this place is absolutely crutch for us. We stop by all the time for a quick pick me up. Thanks for the great selections!

More than $18 purchase pictured below. Apples non-organic. Strawberries partially rotten. Other customer waiting at check out showed middle finger for no reason - there was no issue at check out. As rip-off and low class as it gets. UPDATE LATE OCTOBER 2025, ORIGINAL REVIEW EARLY SEPTEMBER: Blueberries now $16.99 (see additional photo) Fyi: got the "cheap" blueberries, not the ones pictured in the separate photo.
