I can't say enough good things about Zülal. When I first started physical therapy, I was honestly dreading it, but she completely changed my perspective. She is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and takes the time to explain everything in a way that makes sense. Beyond her expertise, Zülal is genuinely warm, welcoming, and kind. She creates such a positive atmosphere that every session feels productive and enjoyable. It's clear that she truly cares about her patients and takes a thoughtful, personalized approach to helping them reach their goals. What I never expected is that I would actually look forward to my appointments, but thanks to Zülal, I do. Her dedication, encouragement, and positive energy make all the difference. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional physical therapist.

At age 43, I ended up tearing my tricep tendon after simply playing soccer with my son in the apartment. I went to Spear because it was recommended by a neighbor but also because it was close to work and had more flexible/consistent sessions. I was very fortunate to get Elias as my therapist. Simply put, Elias is awesome! Not only does he have a deep understanding of how the body works, but he has developed unique therapies to help his patients get better, faster, while not being bored. I actually looked forward to my therapy sessions as Elias was great at listening to my concerns but also in pushing me to progress in my therapy. He does a great job in making the sessions fun and had me recovering ahead of schedule. Highly recommend him and Spear.

I have been a patient for various running and other injuries on and off since 2018. Over that period, I've worked with six therapists. All were excellent. In the fall of 2025, Ben, who runs the clinic, treated me for knee issues as I trained for my first ultramarathon (which I completed, at the age of 50). Ben is incredibly skilled. He is also motivating. I would not have been able to do the race without his support. More recently, Zulal treated me for cervical radiculopathy. Under her care, I went from a steady 9 on the pain scale to zero in less than a month. I would recommended this clinic to anyone.

I had an incredible experience at Spear. After receiving a cervical epidural injection late last year, my doctor recommended that I continue my physical therapy at Spear, and I’m so happy I did. My physical therapist Benjamin is so professional and knowledgeable. He helped me reduce neck and shoulder pain and rebuild strength in my neck and the surrounding shoulder muscles. Beyond the hands on treatment, Ben also took the time to teach me how to exercise correctly and safely, which made a huge difference in my recovery. I’m grateful for Ben’s support and expertise throughout this process. Highly recommend Spear and especially Benjamin to anyone looking for high quality physical therapy.

Before coming here, I was dealing with constant knee pain that made everyday things really difficult. I couldn’t go down the stairs, sprint, run freely, or even sit comfortably without lower back pain. I honestly thought I’d just have to live with it. Working with Ben and Steve completely changed that. My knees have improved so much that I’m now pain-free and able to run, sprint, and play tennis again with confidence. The results truly speak for themselves. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It genuinely feels like a community and a family; everyone is welcoming, supportive, and truly cares about your progress. Ben is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, and he tailors everything specifically to you, making you feel supported every step of the way. I also don’t want to forget the receptionists; Omare and Kyanna are amazing. They are extremely professional, warm, and welcoming, and they handle everything so smoothly from scheduling to check-in. They really help make every visit a great experience. This was an amazing experience from start to finish, and I can’t recommend Ben, Steve, and the entire team highly enough. If you’re dealing with knee pain, lower back pain, or any injury, this is the place to go.

Highly recommend this place! I saw Elais for my wrist, and within just a few sessions I was already able to move it better and bear weight with much more ease. The staff is incredibly friendly, honestly the coolest team ever. Such a fun and positive place to be!”

I started working with this team following a patellar (knee) tendon rupture from a car accident that severely impacted my mobility and confidence. I had received conflicting advice about surgery from the top surgeons in Manhattan. One suggested avoiding it to prevent further trauma to an already compromised area, while the other insisted on it, claiming it was the only way for me to heal and resume my previous activities. Given my post-traumatic stress and anxiety from the crash, I wanted to pursue the non-surgical route. Ben supported me throughout this process with understanding and compassion, quickly recognizing that my primary challenge was rebuilding my confidence. He consistently inspired me to overcome it. Ben is an exceptional physiotherapist who strikes a perfect balance between being gentle and firm. He knows when to push and when to hold back. His structured and progressive session plans are impressive. He meticulously calculates the appropriate amount of challenge for each session, ensuring I was neither overworked nor underloaded. This approach significantly accelerated my recovery. With an injury that could have easily taken 6-9 months, I was able to resume most of my favorite activities just under 3 months after starting treatment. I couldn’t even perform a straight leg raise when I joined, but in 4 months, I was doing single leg sit-ups, lunges, squats, and bench presses! I also want to express my deepest gratitude to Steve for his unwavering support. He diligently monitored and corrected my posture, guided me through each exercise, and consistently checked in with me to ensure my comfort throughout. His attentiveness and care truly stood out. Steve is undoubtedly a great trainer, and I’m taking some of his valuable tips from our sessions to my grave! I would love to work with him someday! What truly distinguishes this clinic is its warm and compassionate atmosphere. The entire team, including even the therapists I didn’t directly work with, Rutvi, Shruti, and Ayushi, demonstrated exceptional patient care. Their warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness were evident in every interaction. It’s clear that this is a place where people genuinely care and make a genuine effort to help their patients recover. Hands down, this place is amazing, and Ben will always be my top recommendation!
