We stayed round the corner to this bar, was our favourite the whole trip. Welcoming and warm, nicely lit place, good choice of drinks which considering its location were very reasonable too. Staff were great too. Didn't have food but I saw plates coming out and it looked really good.

Great find when I went down to take the ferry. The service was excellent and the food and drinks were even better. This was probably one of the best French onion soups ever! I couldn't have been happier with brown cheese on top and the rich flavor. Also they make their own jalapeño pineapple infused tequila. WOW, just WOW. incredible fresh flavor. The margarita made with it was impeccable. I even might try to make some on my own after talking to them. Definitely check this place out

A quaint little restaurant with great ambiance. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing about this restaurant. Food was mediocre. We ordered a blackened chicken wrap and the black bean burger. The blackened chicken wrap was ok but it could use more chicken and filling. However, the black bean burger was a huge disappointment. The patty was thin, dry, and had a bitter aftertaste. Even a store bought frozen black bean burger patty would have put this to shame. For the price, it was not worth it at all. Our server was friendly but not very attentive considering the entire restaurant was empty. We had to chase her down just to refill our water cups while she was busy chatting with a coworker. There is nothing special about the food and service. You can find better restaurants that excel at all 3: ambiance, service, and food.

The service here was great and fast. Really enjoyed all the dishes we ordered, and of course enjoyed the Guinness.

We visited Ryan Maguire’s Bar & Restaurant at 28 Cliff Street on Saturday, May 16th at 11:29 AM. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment we were seated. We had a party of seven, and the waitress came across as cold, uninviting, and completely disengaged. The service felt generic and stale, with no effort to make guests feel welcome. The food itself was just okay — nothing memorable and certainly nothing you can’t find elsewhere throughout Manhattan. Since the menu offers nothing particularly unique, the service should have been the differentiating factor. Instead, it failed entirely. What made the experience especially frustrating was that our group was the only occupied table in the entire establishment, yet we were largely ignored. At one point, I had to get up myself and ask for water because no one was paying attention to our table. The waitress seemed far more interested in chatting with other female staff members at the bar than attending to customers. Overall, I would not recommend this place. There are far too many better restaurants and bars in the city with both superior hospitality and better attention to customers.

This Irish pub has a warm, authentic neighborhood atmosphere, complete with beautiful woodwork and friendly regulars. The Guinness was poured to perfection, and the Shepherd’s Pie was hearty, flavorful, and among the best I’ve had in NYC. I also enjoyed the fish and chips. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The total cost was around $20 to $30 per person. It's a true gem in the Financial District!

Took some notes when I visited here on September 12, 2020 at 4:00 PM. My party and I were seated outdoors in this nice little alleyway where there wasn't much foot traffic around the restaurant. There were only a couple other parties besides mine eating outdoors so it didn't feel too busy and so the outdoor atmosphere was calming and the nice weather was a great bonus. The waitress was also very nice and attentive. As for the food, everything looked and tasted pretty good! Two minor things that I would want them to improve on is for them to season their vegetables! A little bit of salt, black pepper, and/or butter can go a long way to make cooked vegetables taste a little bit better (otherwise they're completely flavorless!). Obviously this draws away from the healthiness of the vegetables, but when cooked vegetables are not seasoned well and paired with a steak and fries, I can't help but desire just a little bit of more flavor. Another thing I took note of was their Coke/Pepsi (I didn't write down which one), tasted VERY watered down which was especially surprising because it didn't even contain much ice. I asked for a refill at some point and the second one also tasted very watered down, so maybe their soda fountain wasn't mixing properly or something, but I didn't deem it as something worth making a complaint about. Overall, the food and the service was great and those two things I mentioned are definitely not enough to drop their rating down a full star. I enjoyed eating here regardless and will return again soon to try other items on their menu.
