This is a tea and coffee shop, raw materials, cannot drink here, cannot sit. Love this place. I am a huge tea fan, and their selection is amazing. They have coffee as well, and I understand that it's a good grade.

I'm obsessed with this quaint tea and coffee retailer. It is a little slice of West Village history, and it feels so inviting each time I walk into it. It's the perfect place, in which to roam around on a chilly day...or, on any day, for that matter. It's honestly not that big inside, but somehow its charming vibe and old-school feel make it feel more spacious. The staff members are really nice and low-key...they’re friendly, yet don't jump on you with sales tactics. And, of course, their variety of unique teas and coffees is second to none! Love this place! They have such a wide variety of different teas and coffees, you really do not need to look anywhere else. They have everything you need. Cannot wait to make this a staple in my kitchen.

Everything is phenomenal. Walk in and the store smells like HEAVEN! Staff is super friendly and helpful to find the perfect tea/coffee for you. So many options!

Step back in time and enjoy a straightforward yet adorably endearing tea/coffee buying experience. This is a multi-generation stop that, overall, seems unchanged by the passage of decades outside its windows. This is in the best way, as it’s an experience all its own. They have a massive selection of coffee and tea here, with many different flavors and hard to find options. You can buy it by the pound. For the coffee, it’s either whole beans or they’ll grind it to your specified fineness. Their coffees and teas are always delicious and they’re so kind in the shop.

Excellent choices of tea and coffee with helpful staff and nice environment. I wanted to get loose leaf tea to avoid the micro plastics that are in tea bags and this was my first choice in that and now my go to. Must go, the prices are also reasonable.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I know nothing about tea and I had multiple requests for different flavors from the women in my life. The staff here were more than helpful and he took his time to blend the exact flavors they desired. The prices for both teas and coffees were much better than I can get at home. I love the feel of this place and I would highly recommend it here.

Old-world shop that's been here since 1895—wood floors, tin ceiling, jars everywhere . Smells incredible the second you walk in . Over 300 varieties of tea, 50+ coffees, staff actually knows their stuff . They'll grind beans to your spec, scoop bulk tea from giant bins . Cash only, no frills, perfect. A real piece of old New York.
