Leonid & Cristian were incredible today. Patient, helpful, and cheerful. We were communicated effectively & efficiently, all our packages and additional items I totally forgot I had initially booked. Everything was perfect, thank you guys!!!

Dimitri and his whole crew were fantastic. We had a ton of stuff in a bigger one bedroom. They packed all our valuables and fragile items (we paid for full service). No issues at all. They were very thorough and asked us questions any time there was something they needed for us. Highly recommend Imperial Moving

NEVER trust imperial moving. They lure you in with nice sales representatives and low pricing but it is NOT worth it because it is all false promises. I booked a GUARANTEED move for pickup Friday, overnight storage and GUARANTEED delivery Saturday. I was told and confirmed three or more times this was my own dedicated truck. This was a long distance move and I had flights booked Friday night. I called 24 hours prior to the move to confirm pickup and was guaranteed by Felix that a truck would be there. 12 hours prior to the move I received a call that a truck would not be able to pick up. They acted like pickup and delivery in 2-3 days was an acceptable compromise. The claim was a “broken truck” as if the company had only 1 truck. Then communication became even worse. Mario completed ignored all my emails. The company stopped returning calls/left on hold saying they were working on it. They finally tried to pawn me off to a third party and avoid all responsibility. They simply can’t be trusted. The company is a scam. Happy Moving to all

Update: Kevin, who works with operations/admin, reached out to amend the situation. They wanted to provide a fair resolution given that the basic insurance would not cover the cost of the damage. After some back-and-forth, he offered a resolution in which we were both satisfied. Due to their efforts, I changed my initial 1 star rating to a 3 star rating since their efforts exceeded expectations (5). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND DON'T BELIEVE THEIR LIES THAT THERE WON'T BE ANY ADDITIONAL CHARGES! I wish I would've read the Yelp reviews prior, but Mario comes off as a friendly and helpful guy. Don't fall for it! I lived in a studio apartment and was in the process of a renovation so I ended up putting my stuff in their storage facility for a month. First, the move to the storage unit cost hundreds more than the amount I was quoted (quoted 950, cost over 1300) even though everything was packed in boxes, bins, compression/zipped bags, luggage, etc. except for the furniture. I had some hanging clothes that they put in wardrobe boxes and for some stupid reason, they put my side tables in wardrobe boxes UNPROTECTED next to a metal shelf, underneath heavy (approximately 10lb. each) bags of clothing, etc. instead of blanket wrapping them like typical movers I have used. Because of their incompetence and carelessness, they broke a marble top side table from Anthropologie. When my new movers were picking up my stuff from their storage facility, there was no one there when they arrived at 930ish - the paperwork stated that my movers would arrive between 9-11AM. If you care about your stuff, find another moving company.

10/10 experience thanks to Chris and Lorenzo! It was my first time getting movers in over a decade in the city so I was a bit nervous, but they were so kind, accommodating, and everything was handled with care and efficiency. They made the whole day a breeze, I couldn’t believe it. Also, I’d gotten multiple quotes from competitors and imperial moving had the best and fairest pricing! Win win :) will 1000% be using them again!

There is simply no better moving service in NYC than Imperial Movers. Mario is the man! A real one. He and the team are beyond efficient. They take the stress out of moving. They arrive on time and work quickly while paying attention to every detail. I cannot recommend this company enough.
